Also getting a waterproof outlet box ready to mount below the new window I put in the other day... I need power there for the waterfall and some lighting. Window frame mounting beats trying to cut through block and brick. I allowed for this when I put the window in.

Also... Got a frame for one of the blueprints today. It's going to need resized in one dimension. Cutting glass... Not one of my favorite things. Cutting the frame is not a problem. Cutting the matting so it doesn't show... Hmmmm, is that possible? Anyways I'm putting a few of the original blueprints up in the entryway. I'm not paying hundreds of dollars to have them "professionally mounted" so I gotta do that myself.

    No.... No it isn't.

I'm cooking lentils and rice... Being a lazy ass.

I am in Kingston this long weekend, I could use some molasses cookies and apple pie.

Seriously though, I am not much of a baker. Is it possible to bake cookies without baking powder or baking soda, will it turn out alright? I wanted to bake cookies a few nights ago but found I had neither in the house. All recipes I looked at called for at least one.

The thing with the walmart is if I go in by myself I go straight to the cat food and cat litter; then I leave.

Hubby wants to go all the way across the store for a few grocery items. He walks so slowly that it wears me out because I have to be on my feet that much longer. If I went to the other side of the store I could be across it and out so much sooner.

It's good for him to get out and walk a little. I know.

The cat food bag is 30 lbs. and the cat litter box is 38 lbs. I'm ready to get it and go.

I've never been able to get him in one. I think he'd rather fall down first.

I used one, once, before my knee surgery.

Yesterday after school, one of the triplets said to me,

"We had littmus lozenges today at school. Look it up on Google. They contain sorrow so when you eat them you can be reminded of your sadness."

    I'm like "Wha?"

    Here it is. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uziSvY3u-pQ

Harvested the last of the tomatoes and green beans and then I opened the garden gates and let the miniature ponies have a romp. They kicked up their heels and ran down all the rows of dried corn stalks. Rolled in the clover. Ate all the comfrey. Had a lovely pony day.

They slept in the clover last night. It must be their catnip.

In my next life, I want to come back as one of my animals. I can't quite figure out the logistics of that quantum puzzle.. but it's my goal.

Or Santana. I'd like to play like Santana next time.

this will be my first thanksgiving without the family. new baby in the house and we just aren't up for the 4 hour drive right now. lots of family coming up to visit over the next week though, so that will be nice.

I might take a drive to the bakery in sturgeon falls today to get a pie... they make really, really good pies...

Broke the wagon today... Like really. It was never meant for this anyways so it was due. Problem is, I can't haul in any more firewood.

The Pride parade lacked enthusiasm or something. I was putting more energy into waving and cheering than the participants. I saw so many people in the parade with their eyes straight ahead, looking like they weren't having a good time. There were less bracelets and beads given out. Plus the major local news channel set up right beside us and I got tired of watching their reporter acting like he was having more fun than he was.

I hurt. I missed 800 mg. of ibuprofen this morning and the evening dose hasn't kicked in. If there wasn't ibuprofen in the world I wouldn't be walking.

All in all my day was pleasant but I didn't come away from the parade feeling the love and joy that I normally do.

Next year I'll go with lower expectations.

Ibuprofen is surprisingly effective. I think a lot of people underestimate it because it is available OTC. It can be very effectice combined with acetaminophen too. I use it for my pain quite often.
