I took a nap today and it was a good thing to do. The window in my room was open and there was enough of a breeze to just ruffle the air. Smell was crisp and clean. I like that.

 

Had two big trees removed from the back yard today... Well, they aren't "removed", they are still there actually. But they aren't standing anymore.




Expen$ive.....

530am and construcatards screaming trucks outside my house.

 

Here we have noise by laws and they are not allowed to start until 7 am. Wow, 530 is way too early.

Ty, I hope that you can at least use the wood for heat. Taking down trees is expensive to be sure. My mom's church had to have two removed and it had to be by arborists due to insurance. Two grand. That hurts.

I have to go back in for blood work today as the labs called me this morning and they lost my vials.........not sure how that happens. :yikes:

different times of the year I favor different colors....and I can never have a favorite color it seems....right now, I am into the red color....that will last until valentine's Day.....LOL

hard to look at too much red in hot summer months.....then I like white and yellow.....

Colors are very important to me......and i am so happy to be able to experience them.....they make you feel different things.

Random fact....I have a garage that has nothing but beer equipment in it....and 10 gallons of beer fermenting I might add.

I'm in Ohio.... They call it the midwest. Just look at a map, Ohio is actually in the mideast.



Of course saying that around here will get your ass kicked if not shot.

 

Indiana...samething, I have always wondered why it is still called the midwest...more like east-central

 

It's a pretty expensive business to be in if you are doing everything legally (which many are not). We've done work for numerous churches with varying results. Some of them pay fairly quickly, some take forever to pay and a handful have had us come out for estimates.....only to suggest that we "donate" our services...you know....since we would get a tax write-off and....praise the lord, etc. One church that took forever to pay was one of the ones who wanted us to work for free. It kind of pissed me off because it was like they were thinking if they just take months to pay, maybe we'll just forget about it. Nope. We just kept billing them with more late fees every month.
