We might have to worry about that some day but not right now. So far, these are pretty good girls from good families. Nobody is blind but we're ok for now.

 

My granddaughters friends from the ball team are okay. Some of the school friends, not so much. She really is only allowed to do things with the girls from the ball team because her parents can know their parents.

It never occurred to me to ask how much I'm getting paid today. It's Sunday so it should be double-time, right?

It is hot and humid here as well. Good day to stay in the air conditioned house.

We lost my sons budgie a while back and missed her dreadfully. There is something about having the cheery sound of chirps and chatter in the house that makes it home for us. We finally were ready to find a new companion and yesterday we went and got a female parrotlet from a breeder. She is a beautiful blue shade and her name is Celeste.

Now the training begins. She is learning not to nip and to step up first. 10 weeks old so I think she has time to learn it all.

This is Celeste. I just introduced her to the jungle gym, and she is still a little unsure about it.

 

She's gorgeous

 

Got the WoodRat running again... New bushings in the center shaft, new quick link on the rear chain and adjusted. Front chain needs an idler but it runs and drives again. The chain adjustment is on the center shaft but there's no way to get both chains right, so I got the rear chain right... Idler will take care of the front chain.


Steering really needs an upgrade, it almost goes where you point it but not really.

I need a new desk chair. This one came from hubby's work and I've suffered with it as long as I can.

The lean on it must be 135 degrees. It makes my neck and shoulders hurt.

I sat in a straight back desk chair at Walmart. I loved it and it was only $50-something; but it's leather and the cats will make a mess of it.

I guess I'll go sit in some chairs at Office Depot or somewhere to see if anything affordable is comfortable.

I have a feeling that I'll just get the one at Walmart and plan to have to reupholster it when they tear up the leather. It doesn't come in any other fabric.

 

Now, I have a bed pillow bent over the back of my desk chair and duct taped in place.

I have a decorative cushion in the seat.

It feels great.

I'll probably just upholster my newly designed chair and save some money.

I love my little green one named Sweetpea...he is the only little parakeet I ever had that tilts his head, listens to what i say and talks back to me in his language......I was thinking last night how sad i will be when I lose him someday. I got him this year as a baby....I never saw a little parakeet that looks like the beautiful one you have before....

Does she talk with you and cock his head, too? I love when they do that.....

 

I am kind of mentally exhausted right now. Everything went fine for the most part. There were a few mental errors but nothing big. Nothing that most people would hear. I want to go to sleep but that won't happen very soon.

 

Maybe you won't feel so stressed next time you play with this band, Wiz.
