Random Facts 58

We went bowling today. I used to bowl in leagues as a kid. When I was 11-12 I think my average was around 139 but I might only go once a year now. There was a 179 yr old lady bowling next to us today. She had all the gear....the wrist brace, her own ball and shoes, etc. She looked serious. She bowled a 104. I bowled a 102 so.....I'm still almost as good as a very old lady.

 

You so silly, Wiz...I have LOTS of experience with old ladies, aside from being one myself. Don't ever underestimate them... that old lady probably practices regularly and already knew close to the score she'd have at the end of the night.

She was getting her exercise and socializing all at the same time...she smarter than me.

 

Old ladies are some of my favorite people in the whole world!

If you guys only knew how much shit I've got from employees over the years for giving old ladies great deals at work......not only am I guilty as charged but I'm completely unapologetic about it. They are my favorite people to work for.

 

From the bottom of my heart and for all old ladies out there...I want to sincerely thank you. I'm sure there are some old ladies that might not need those great deals but there are LOTS of us that really do need that deal, and are very appreciative.

That's yet another reason karma seems to smile upon you. (because you deserve it)

 

Well...I suppose some of them may not need a great deal but treating people fairly is good for me too. Having a reputation for treating people fairly can be nothing but golden for me. There is no scam in this. I don't have to remember a bunch of lies. I don't even have a good memory. That's why I always try to tell the truth....because it's much easier for me to remember.

I am with you Specs as that is an age that I could not even imagine living to. I will settle for old enough to know my kids are fine and settled.

Yeah.... If it were me, I probably wouldn't mention getting beat at bowling by a 179 year old lady.

Actually, I never cared for bowling.

 

I'm ok with it. If I had looked around a bit, I bet there were kids who did better than me too.

 

I think the last time I bowled I scored something like 184.

It was really long ago. About 40 of us went from church and I had the lowest score of all.
