My Great Aunt Jessie had a better mustache than my granddaddy did. Grandmoma used to get Aunt Jessie's hair cut in a bowl cut. If Aunt Jessie hadn't worn house dresses I might have thought she was Uncle Jesse.

Maybe Aunt Jessie was Uncle Jesse and grandmoma let him wear house dresses. I don't know.

My brother always called him/her Jessie Maters.

See, if Jessie cornered you she'd talk your ear off and you'd never get away.

Apparently, she cornered my brother and talked to him about tomatoes once.

He called her Jessie Maters, even to her face.

She'd just blush and shoo him away with her apron.

Back in the 70's I was visiting my sister in Virginia. My sister left the room and my niece Lisa (2 years old) was puttering around the room and went out of sight behind a desk. I heard her saying "No" so I walked around the desk to see what she was doing and she was sitting on the chair holding my sister's checkbook, flipping through it saying "No No No No..." and shaking her head side to side.

well that sucked....went to swap out my broken belt tire with a spare set and it turned out my spare set has different offset and doesnt fit my car right without expensive spacers... (rubs on the shock )

so i had to go through all the trouble of removing and remounting and balancing them all instead of just a 2 minute swap out

    it never fails

I have to search for tires. I'm going to check used tires first. My son usually has good luck getting tires for my car on ebay.

I'm riding on close to slicks.

And on a different note.... I'm not getting acoustic studio foam right now for the second bedroom/studio room. I'm going to try something different with materials I have. I'll allow for adding foam in the future, but for right now I'd rather save the money... (read that as not go into debt for studio foam)

i used to scrap a lot of cars and sell tons of used tires before steel prices dropped ..pretty rare i ever had to buy tires

up here walmart had the best prices on new ones but then they phased out the automotive departments when they upgraded all the regular stores to supersized ones (lost automotive to make room for groceries)

i think the alot of the southern stores still sell tires though because they still advertise them in the flyers
