were they solid wood?....most garage doors here are thin metal with foam core...very light....a lot of people use old ones to build ice fishing shack walls because theyre so light and good insulation

I saw some outdoor show the other day and the rangers were going through fishing shack debris that had fallen into the water. They were attempting to fine the owners.

    That's cool.

It reminds me of the things I've seen at the ballparks.

its a lot heavier...like almost army canvas type material

no rods to move you just pull on those black things in the center of each wall and they pop out and stay tensioned

    and no floor of course

That fishing tent looks pretty awesome.

I wouldn't use one of those tents at the ballpark for anything!

I figure, if you're going to make your kids be out playing in the weather, the least you can do is be out there in it yourself.

We set up big canopies during the hot weather so the kids can take their breaks in the shade.

Sometimes, you'll have a break of a couple hours between games.

In the cold weather some parents set up the big canopies that have roll-down walls and put propane heaters inside them.

I'd eat dinner if someone would get it out and heat it up for me.

My daughter is having a sleep-over with some friends. One friend is the daughter of the keyboard player in the band. They have a vocal project they've been doing for maybe 5-6 years. They wanted to show my wife a rap thing they've been working on but were nervous about doing it for the first time with me there because they thought it was a little too dirty to do in front of me (why?...I don't know). I made the mistake of saying....

Me: I don't know why you guys are worried about me. I've rapped before and I'm sure it was a lot raunchier than anything you're about to do.
    Girl: <confused> What?
Me: Sure. Your dad and I have played all kinds of music together. Even rap songs.
Girl: Sooo.....you guys have done rap music?
    Me: <uh oh...dammit> Well....you know...a few times.
    Girl: Which songs?
Me: It isn't important. <remembering there is video online>....You guys should remember that we get paid to entertain...it's kind of like a job.

All three girls went upstairs after that. I hope they didn't google anything but I wonder if they did. This might be slightly awkward in a little while.

Yeah....I don't think anyone remembers the password to take that rap video down. It's just kind of out there. I was sort of on the fence about doing that song. I didn't mind a video being recorded at the time but, in the back of my head, I think I was somewhat concerned about the video existing a few years later. Here we are....

It only took me about 2 hours before I decided no one was going to do it and I did it myself.

I'm fully toilet trained so just putting some food on my plate and microwaving it for me would be great.
