So I finally get ready, prepare for the cold out side, and the wind..now it rains! Winter winter go away, come another shopping day!

 

Just got up to 2F degrees here.... Must be a heatwave.

 

sisinlaw gets a guitar for xmas, I teach her how to play it, now Im trying to get in her pants. gf is a fucking walking joke, I dont know how I managed to stay with her this long. maybe i should fuck her sister..

 

oh my Ori! I think you may be asking for DISASTER if you get in gf's sister's pants. :yikes:

but did she pick up on the guitar pretty good?

Shes just learning but why do new people to the guitar always adjust the tuning pegs drivers me crazy

 

sometimes I am shocked how out of tune my guitar is when I tuner'up

My block heater/inverter idea hasn't panned out as well as I had hoped thus far. We had it on for 2-3 hours today and we couldn't even get that diesel engine to fire at all. It was still way too cold.

But....then it hit me...duh!!.....I pulled the intake hose from the manifold and used a heat gun to blow hot air into the engine. It started immediately, I tightened the hose back down and it was good to go for the rest of the day. That was so easy that I may not even bother with the block heater unless it's somewhere where we can plug in overnight. The kid said he was shocked that it worked that easily. I wasn't shocked at all. That is exactly what glow plugs do....heat up the air so the engine will fire.

I beat the hell out of my strings while playing.....still stays in tune.

 

only the weather makes my strings go out..

 

Ty, maybe look for some mitts instead of gloves. If I am working on anything outside in winter I use mitts as then my hands do not tend to freeze. Gloves are great for driving or dress but not so much for warmth.
