I'm listening to stuff on youtube and hulu while I sew. Not participating here much. I know. It makes you people sad.

Snowing... Wind.... I can't see my backyard.

I may have to plow my driveway... The John Deere with blade, loaded tires and chains has never actually plowed the driveway. If it starts, it could be interesting.


It's still snowing though, so I'm doing ceiling tiles. (technically right now I'm on the internet, but I WILL be doing ceiling tiles...)

Plowed the driveway... Deere didn't want to start in 14F degree weather but once it did start the old girl moved snow like a champ.


I NEED better gloves though. Seriously!

 

I would love a pair of hand stitched deer skin gloves.......

grand daughter is 13 today...she is pretty happy about being an official ''teen''


I am less excited

with todays advances in technology you don't have to be there in peron to warn a pros[ective boy that you will castrate him if his pecker makes an appearance around your grand daughter...

you can now skype those threats directly when the young man comes to the door

 

My dogs are indoor dogs and Piper has a thinner coat than Emma. When it's really chilly and windy I put sweaters on them when we go outdoors; especially Piper because with her injury she can't run around to stay warm.

 

Last "funky cut" ceiling tile is ready to go up... cut is around the heat register. All the rest in this section are straight cut/bevel/install. Will have some spackling to do once they are all in place.


Then prime and paint before the ceiling beams go up. I still have to make and stain said beams. This whole job is going to take a full week or more. It's actually a two man job, but that's not happenin'.

I think being out in 14 degree weather when I plowed the driveway wiped me out... I feel really weird.

Aeri is right. The cold puts extra demands on your body. I think cold weather hypoglycemia is usually associated with diabetics, but I think it can affect anyone.

 

Nah... No chest pain.

 

I figured that wasn't the problem, with all the wood chopping that you do.

 

ive encountered much energy from storm system ..

 

Something on the wind today. I'm in way too much pain for the little bit of piddling around I did in the yard this afternoon.

 

As in bad energy, or something like that?

 

No. It felt invigorating to the mind and soul but just a bit hard on the body, I think.
