Just a simple one from me. Try as I may, I have still not got the slightest clue how I stumbled upon Hip Forum. But then you would probably expect that from me.
You were possibly looking for the hip replacement forums that come up just beneath in the search engines just like the rest of us?
You may have hit the nail on the head. It was about the same time that I was looking for a diagram of the path of the femoral artery through the hip to explain one of the problems of trans-femoral access when fitting a TAVI aortic replacement heart valve to a medical student
What a coincidence! Why last week I was--never mind. What is your trade, Wilsjane? Sounds interesting.
That is an interesting question. I started off training as a doctor, but the call of the theater (the artistic type) was too great. For the next 17 years I ran London's most successful cinema, where I ran 14 royal premiers and made a lot of friends in the film industry who commissioned me to design 2 new film theaters and facilities in 3 film studios to deal with the advent of Dolby sound systems. My work had several gaps due to recessions, during which I went back to heart surgery, teaching science and driving a London ambulance. Having chartered as an electrical engineer, I worked as a consultant on numerous other projects, some of which still call me in today, despite the fact them I am long since retired. Air conditioning of the theaters was a major part of my work and since one of them was below ground, I developed electrode heating, coupled with mechanical heat pumps. Sadly now demolished, this is the theater that had a lot of my designs.
Very nice. You've done some interesting things and had interesting positions. Thanks for relating that.
When I have people over, I will sometimes buy cheaper liquor and pour it into old bottles of much fancier liquor. I cry at literally everything: Movies, books, songs, commercials, seeing someone's dog...everything.
When I was a Catholic, I went to confession and the priest said something I didn’t like so I replied that he should be grateful I was in there because the line was really short. Lol I don’t think he absolved me.
I went to the Catholic church a few times with a girl friend. We sat up in the balcony and one time I start hearing a ukulele playing. A couple of drunkards I knew entered the front door and walked about halfway up the aisle plunking the Uke. Everybody just froze and didn't do or say anything and the morons just turned and plunked their way back out of the front door. I got a kick out of it. They're dead now from drunk driving.
My grandmother became disillusioned with the Catholic Church because they don't allow women to be priests. She really wanted me to be a priest. Apparently, she doesn't know me all that well. But I am the one who got her back in the Church, so maybe she was onto something...
I really hope your bad experiences with your ex doesn't keep you from seeking another woman to be with. A really good one this time.
I never knew what a “cream pie” was until coming to HF. When I’d read about it in the sex section here I thought...all these people are bringing cream pies into their beds? What? Like, a pie from the bakery. And then I realized...it’s nothing like that
I never knew the most common fantasy married men had was to have their wives sleep with other men. I mean, I was aware that that was a thing, I just had no idea how common it was until I got to HF. Oh, that and there are a lot of "straight" men who enjoy sex with other "straight" men.
