It began with PR questioning the validity of the press coverage involving the embattled owner of the LA clippers Donald Sterling. Anyone with half a brain would be outraged by the comments of DS but Mr. Contrarian (to the end) hi-de-ho missed the point

No doubt she was gold-digger, but that doesn’t excuse his past and present behavior from his early days as an ambulance chaser to slumlord to the worse NBA owner/racist to come down the pike since Marge Shott

For the first time in franchise history the LA Clippers have a chance to make some noise in the playoffs and their owner has to watch the game on cable TV.-that’s cool, and to suggest he’s going to make a fortune off this fire sale is foolhardy.

He gets to sit at home and watch the money tree grow. They have to pay him for the team if they want him out, He does own it! They can try and 'force' a sale, But he can laugh all day or all the way to the bank!

Like you said, First time to make 'headlines', That there upped the selling price, Racist or not! To think he wont come out with more than before, Is stupid!

I don't participate in racial tension threads very much. They make interesting lurking material though

Oh wow Stern played it? Always heard of him but never heard his radio shows.
My daddy is big into country music and bought a book once detailing the history of American country music. Johnny Rebel was mentioned and said his albums were banned in America so daddy sent me online to find them cause he was curious. Found the complete collection at some random American white power site micetrap.net.

We lol'd hard, all of us did. Not mum.. But the rest of the family. Rofl. We'd heard nothing like it before. It was probably meant to be taken seriously 40 years ago.

After reading only the first two pages and NOT reading the remainder....

...Yeah, how wrong the racism is. Really. IN a business environment. But it's his personal life, his skank. Who cares?

So this guy Adam Silver acts like a junior Jesus Christ over it. Congrats.
Now if Silver can get off his fake ivory pedestal and do something about Shaq making fun of a black kid with a physical disability/deformation.

Let's see here...it's wrong to make fun of someone for their color but ok to make fun of someone because of their disability/deformation...hmmm.

I'd have to say that Shaq is a POS. Not racial, but then he did make fun of a disabled/physically deformed person. I'd love to see Shaq make fun of my physical impairments...to my face. The gutless coward won't.

Bigotry is a two way street. And Shaq is a two-faced bigot.

I think "race" is really just a bs excuse the ultra elite and the ultra worthless use. They're the only ones you ever hear of whinng about it. Here's a good bit LOTS of people can relate to:

Tal Fortgang has been at the Ivy League school for only eight months, but has already grown weary
of the social justice campaign that assumes he’s there because he’s a white male.

Fortgang posted his story on “The Princeton Tory,” a blogsite touted as “a journal of conservative
and moderate thought,” where he explained that some opinions are disregarded merely because of
    the person voicing them.

“’Check your privilege,’ the saying goes, and I have been reprimanded by it several times this year,”
he wrote. “’Check your privilege,’ they tell me in a command that teeters between an imposition to
actually explore how I got where I am, and a reminder that I ought to feel personally apologetic
because white males seem to pull most of the strings in the world.”

While the student says he does not accuse anyone of “overt racism,” he condemns the fact that
everything he has accomplished is diminished because they judge him as having been raised in a
    privileged family.

Fortgang provides a lengthy explanation of the adversity that his “privileged” family had to endure
to get to where he is now. Of his grandfather he wrote:

Perhaps it’s the privilege my grandfather and his brother had to flee their home as teenagers
when the Nazis invaded Poland, leaving their mother and five younger siblings behind,
running and running until they reached a Displaced Persons camp in Siberia, where they
would do years of hard labor in the bitter cold until World War II ended. Maybe it was the
privilege my grandfather had of taking on the local Rabbi’s work in that DP camp, telling him
that the spiritual leader shouldn’t do hard work, but should save his energy to pass Jewish
tradition along to those who might survive. Perhaps it was the privilege my great-grandmother
and those five great-aunts and uncles I never knew had of being shot into an open grave
outside their hometown. Maybe that’s my privilege.

He continued with his grandmother’s story:

Or maybe it’s the privilege my grandmother had of spending weeks upon weeks on a death
march through Polish forests in subzero temperatures, one of just a handful to survive, only to
be put in Bergen-Belsen concentration camp where she would have died but for the Allied
forces who liberated her and helped her regain her health when her weight dwindled to
    barely 80 pounds.

Fortgang said his privilege is derived from “those two resilient individuals came to America with no
money and no English, obtained citizenship, learned the language and met each other.” They would
raise four children, including his father, and send them to City College.

He wrote this of his father’s struggles:

Perhaps it was my privilege that my own father worked hard enough in City College to earn a
spot at a top graduate school, got a good job, and for 25 years got up well before the crack of
dawn, sacrificing precious time he wanted to spend with those he valued most—his wife and
kids—to earn that living. I can say with certainty there was no legacy involved in any of his
accomplishments. The wicker business just isn’t that influential. Now would you say that
we’ve been really privileged? That our success has been gift-wrapped?

“I have checked my privilege. And I apologize for nothing,” Fortgang concluded.

"Check your privelege should be what we say to some other, big mouth paid free bums in our country whatever slob color they are.

    <<Im prejudiced against purple people....eaters>>

Eaters are brits....US people are "packages"...the thing is, here, the term applies to anyone involved with the system practically in any way. Everybody here wants to "package" you...get you "packaged". Hate that fukkin term.
