    Sounds like he was a fine little presence, with the dogs mourning him and you giving him this nice tribute.

    I've said for sometime now that if I ever buy a pet, I want to get a bird. (Furry ones have found their way here for many years now.)

    She was about 5 even I got her, so about 16 years total. Thank you'
    Indeed it is. It's been a strange day not hearing her singing.
    She was a wonderful part of the family. The dogs did love her as well. They would put their noses against the cage, and she would chirp and jump up and down. I've had pets of all kinds. Dogs, cats, birds, rats, hamsters, and fish. Thanks for the kind words. :)

    So very sorry that your family had to say goodbye to Chipper. Birds make such wonderful companions.

    I hope that each time you think of Chipper you end with a smile from the memory.
