question about actual smoke

and fuck! here goes the second time writing this b/c i hit back and lost my quick post. that's why i should always click the post button. then if you hit back (in firefox at least) you can go forward and it's not erased.

anyways, it's basically all been said but i'll say it again
you are either holding your hits in longer, taking smaller ones than your friends, or a combo of the two. or just can't see your own smoke cuz it's right in front of you. it maybe just appears that way, but really your cloud is just as big. i've noticed this happening before and i told my friend to hold that shit in!

CC, i think i know what you mean about inhaling without the extra big breath at the end. that's how to teach someone to inhale. but when it's more natural, you just breath a little bit of air at the end of the hit, so you don't notice it. but you still do it, otherwise you don't inhale the last bit of the smoke

also you can "direct hit" a joint or blunt. don't touch your lips to it. just hold it close you your lips and suck kinda hard
that's how you can ensure that you inhale.

to correctly use a carb: plug it while you light the weed, and let go right before you are about to inhale.

sometimes i see a quote in a thread, but it's not there as a normal post. the person being quoted doesn't even have a post. maybe they got banned/erased too? or am i just scrolling past stuff and missing it b/c i am too high? or are people just making up quotes??

if i need air i just breathe in my nose for a second, or take my mouth off the peice for a second.

and if i'm clearing it i just inhale without lighting it.

if it's a bong though, and someone milks it, it's impossible not to use the carb

 

just doesnt seem like it would be as efficient, the cherry burns brighter when you have your finger on the carb b/c all the air is coming into the pipe from the bowl, if you dont cover the carb you also have air coming in from that hole, so theres less pressure causing the weed to burn

Most bongs with carbs don't even work if you don't hold it.

i mean my finger is ALWAYS on the carb, i hardly take it off.

I can clear a whole bowl without taking my finger off or pulling the bowlpiece out.
