i tried an old cd program years ago and failed :(
but remember bits and pieces from my study as well as bits and pieces from my past 5 trips. It is quite a difficult language for an American but I have both dutch and german heritage so I haven't given up completely! It would be nice to have a native speaker help me, but for understandable reasons, most would rather communicate in english!

Uhhhmmm... This is the Queensday 2006 Thread?!!!

If you'd be so kind as to direct your foreign language lessons to a new thread.

    Just kiddin' guys. LOL

Where specifically are you settin' up shop on Queensday Myrtje?

    What times?

Koopa and I will have to make sure to stop by with a BIG hash/wiet joint in hadn and catch a pic of you takin' a BIG 'ol drag off of it for the Forums gallery.

I can imagine Dutch being hard for anyone foreign, its not exactly the most logical or simple language in the world. And to every rule there's always an entire list of exceptions. But if you ever feel like picking up learning it again, just let me know :]

"Apparently" , Museumplein is a pretty general description of where you'll be at considering the size of the place.

Where specifically will you be serving the public with your fine Dutch brews? What hours will you be working?!!

On second thought... Fuck It! Sorry I even brought it up. You & Koopa can have your Dutch phonics session instead. C'est La Vie...

The joint reference was simply a joke. "Miss Myrtjes'" UN-enlightenment to the ways is well known here. Perhaps a funny picture of her with the doob wasn't such a grande idea afterall.

Oh zo weinig tijd in de dag.

    Doei
