    All the Dutch people I know hate the idea of public holiday being called Queen's Day. But I read in a book that people are really into it.

    When the so-called "Royal Wedding" was on in England, I made a point of going for an extra *extra* long run, round the streets. It was my way of saying "its only garbage on the televison, you should do something worthwhile". I'll do it for a "royal funeral" too, but will prob be arrested...lol

    So do people like the holiday, or the actual idea of a "queen's day" as well in NL?

    It gives the Dutch a really good reason to put on a party! You have to be there for sure....meet us in 2013!
