Q. about LSD in the 60s or earlier

well i do like this one better but i still think you could understand me a little better. i have read more than a few of your posts in this and other threads and i realize that you are a very intelligent person. you have a good understanding of many things. you misunderstood what i said very clearly which lead me to believe that you have some difficulty when it comes to reading retention and/or comprehension. like you said, i am not suggesting that you can not read, retain and comprehend all together - i am only saying that with this one instance you have proven that you are not always capable of reading, retaining and comprehending. when i say that you might need to work on this i am not saying that you are completely incapable of understanding what you read - i am pointing this out for you so that you can better understand what to do. because i realize that you might not think you need to fix anything about yourself i used the words "you might" instead of 'you must' so that you dont feel like i am bossing you around.

when it comes to swoosh i would take it a little further. he constantly misunderstands what he reads. he is more than a few steps behind you when it comes to reading, retaining and comprehending. most times he is just looking for a reason to disagree with me so that he can argue, the whole time he doesnt realize that he has completely misunderstood. swoosh may never be able to admit that he continuously misses the point making himself look like he has no idea what he is talking about (most of the time). like everyone he does have some good things to say and of course he is not a idiot. but this constant attacking of my posts due to his complete misunderstanding of them is getting very old and annoying. now he is going to post a response to this only to suggest that it is actually 3xi who is misunderstanding everything but little does swoosh know that for most people it is clear that i understand what i am talking about unlike him.(not to say that he doesnt have some good things to say because he does - but he could lay off attacking me - if he wants to argue he should wait till his mother or father comes home - stop taking it out on me kid.)

 

Message received and acknowledged, the only idea which I still feel I could touch on is the generalization. Is it not possible I was just a little sleep deprived when I responded? In actuality I frequently deprive myself of sleep in order to achieve a different perspective on my life. Some of the greatest thoughts I have ever had have been the result of a sleep deprived state, as well as some of the most jumbled thoughts. I am merely attempting to explain how a person could misread something every once in a while and still display an above average reading ability.
I will admit that myself and almost any other person could benefit from reading more frequently. A sad fact is that 99% of America failed to read even ONE BOOK last year. I can proudly say that I am a member of the 1%.
