I don't want to jump in and cause any problems or anything but weed can deteriorate in quality! Prolonged periods of light, extreme high or low temperatures, handling, etc. There are a good few factors that cause deterioration in quality. Though, even in the most extreme cases of deterioration, the bud will be atleast at 65-70% potency. But why not strive for that perfect 100%? Not saying that my buds are at 100%, but i put my buds in mason jars in a dark closet that stays 60-65F. After they are cured and perfectly dry, they can store in there for years!
dude i was willing to thank you and be civil for the journal article quote, but when you bitch about people putting words in your mouth you have no clearly place. i never once said to put bud in the freezer (go back and check it). i said put it in the fridge. read before you speak. calling someone a "fucking amateur" (and somehow thinking that that doesn't imply you're a know-it-all) when you didn't even read what they said in the first place is pretty pathetic.
Freezer/fridge - both colder than room temp, both unneeded. Both wrong. Your still a fucking amature, and NO, that doesnt mean i know it all, you daft ****. It means you know fucking nothing.
haha. daft huh? did you look that up before you used it? grow up. the most important aspect of of weed storage was written right there in your journal article quote: to be away from oxygen and light. a vacuum sealed container in the fridge does exactly both of those. am i wrong? what? no? ok. case settled. why that is wrong i don't know...but aparently it takes a "daft ****" to know. the fact i've spent more than 3 minutes of my time writing to you is such a terrible waste. so eat a dick, i'm out of here. you're a waste of time.
sounds like someone needs to take a chill pill and respect your elders. we all know your e-penis is mighty in girth.
i know, sad isn't it? The very article you quoted says that storing under vacuum is the best thing you can do...which is exactly what I said. What are you not getting? Anyways, this is pointless. I'm done and not responding to this thread anymore. The whole thing is kind of pathetic.
holy shit this is hilarious....i think you both just need to smoke the weed and not worry about storage. no need to store it if its smoked right? EDIT: after reading everything over again, damn LIP you need to take a deep breath and chill. monster has admitted your right on the temperature deal. but yet you cannot admit that he was orginally correct on the vacuum sealing point.
Lip's the one who needs to take a chill pill. The other dude says on page 2 that neither of them really know more about weed than the other and the other dude flips out. And if you're going to insult someone, at least spell it right. Fucking amateur spellers.
Who the fuck brought the vacuum sealing into it? I didnt say that was wrong. Theres nothing wrong with that. Putting it in the fridge/freezer is wrong, which is exactly what i've been saying ALL THE WAY THROUGH. No one needs to chill, especially not me. He said "anyone who says that bud shouldn't be kept in the fridge...i beg to differ." and i differed, proved him wrong, end of. I didnt say anything about the vacuum sealing point, so i dont know where the fuck that came from, and i cant stand cunts putting words in my mouth. Infact, go back and FIND the word vacuum in my posts - you wont apart from this one im making now.
hahaha wow it's so funny how worked up u are over this..... ur right that u said nothing about the vacuum sealing directly but in a previous post he admitted u were right about the temperature thing. then he says that it is best to vaccuum the jar. all u said in response (and i quote), "you're still wrong though..." to most people that would imply (without stretching too far here) that u thought he was wrong with his entire post, since you quoted his entire post in ur response. i dont see why u are still fired up over this since both parties seem to have come to a agreeable conclusion a long time ago. third of all, ur article says "The effect of temperature, up to 20 degrees, was insignificant..." does that imply that a fridge is WRONG? i dont really think so. it just means exactly that...it just doesn't matter. if i had two options: (a) store in mason jar in the fridge under vacuum (monsters original recommendation) or (b) store in mason jar in my closet not under vacuum (Lips recomendation) ........i'm going with (a) based on the evidence that LIP himself has stated. ok thats enough of being a lawyer. none of this is personal LIP......i just like poking peoples buttons sometimes. plus im mildly bored this afternoon. time to smoke. peace. :spliff:
i didn't read the whole conversation. you caught me. i was a little drunk. but my statement was spelled right.
