this is missy....the female of the 2 hunting dogs i look after....owner just dropped off this Christmas card for me with a surprise inside for his thanks....this dog is one of the best trained dogs ....its a shame they don't get out to hunt more

 

Oh wow, looks like my parents Springer, they are cool dogs..
Theirs run around the garden with its nose constantly on the floor.. no wonder the police and armed forces use them, they love to work..

these are the dogs that wandered on my property and each grabbed a hen...i caught them crossing the lawn with my birds i their mouth lol...they didn't hurt the birds ....just traumatized the shite out of them lol

 

Mother nature has strange ways of doing things..
My parents dog injured their little one by sitting on her, just because she wanted to be close. When she had to be put down, the Springer missed her so much... We all thought she would die.
We wondered if she blamed herself, sounds mad, but I guess you had to be there, seeing her cuddled up in the little bed with the little ones toys, was heart breaking.
They moved her bed into a cupboard and she cried till it came out again... Super intelligent dogs Springer's.

 

Spaniels are super intelligent dogs...probably smarter than some people I know. lol Did y'all know Boykin spaniels were originally bred in SC to hunt wild turkeys and ducks on the Wateree River Swamp here in SC.

There is also a "correctional institute" (prison) named Wateree...when my husband was "working for the state there" (as an inmate - they don't play when you accumulate enough DUIs) that was the best facility in the world to visit a spouse! Each weekend it was as fun as something like that can be. lol I was even able to easily get joints in...and NOT on my person...hidden in a special compartment in my wallet. Dogs were unheard of to sniff out stuff in those days.

That's pitiful about the mama dog, Morrow. I think dogs are capable of a gamut of emotions.

hunters have multible blinds set up in every field around my house...where ever those birds land they have blid to shoot them from....one of the blinds is about 100 yards directly in front of my house....my dog is flipping out because he knows the hunters are over there....he thinks they are trying to sneak up on us

same hunters messed with my head last week....they saw me at the local garage and told me they were out at their spot and saw the Ontario provincial police pull in my driveway and look in my windows around the house....those fuckers had me going too
