The style of those over designed dresses made me think of the villains the Disney females always wear....Look at the villians and evil queen photos from Disney. ...but they do have that medieval style that you seem to like, I guess. I don't like those dresses......but it is not my wedding...Now, you asked....so i answered honestly.

 

Less over designed maybe...with out all that pointy drama on the top part? Soft material. This photo does not look like soft material...but the style is less over designed....

Awe! See! I missed this! I actually like the green one. The contrast of the dark purple sleeves over the beige top looks a bit odd. Nice colors, but I'd like it better if it were beige sleeves and purple top. (But fyi, I'm non conventional so don't take my advice if you want "in trend" or whatever lol)

See above Moonglow. Nah but I do. I mean, because I've got some seamstresses in the family and my husband's family especially. So while I'm most comfortable myself in t-shirts and hoodies., I can class it up when it's required.

And appreciate the finer materials and quality made and all that good stuff.

 

I put in green wedding dresses. She wants green somewhere....so I had to put something up as an offering...not that great, either....though...that dress...I could draw one, though....LOL

I thought it was a real person too. I like it but too much skin revealed and too much on the ground to drag. Not sure why wedding dresses are like this? Especially if hired, seems like expensive dress to get dirty. =p

And we are going for the over design medieval look because that's just so us really. No one else is going to see, just a handful of sisters.

The whole theme if can be called is very old school. We are doing the handfasting, so the dresses will fit in with all that. very feudal vowels too. The rings, Heathen. The handfasting medieval. I'll also have my drinking horn at my side or back of waist.

Then we hit the ocean. I can't remember which book I read maybe it was Stardust, but I always loved this sentence where newly weds go into the ocean and they cut their hands and hold and let the igjt blood drop into the water "no we are married to every seas that surrounds our earth" or something.

Also got to remember, anything new era, or tradition in the 1900s isn't Irm at all. I've always been medieval from the day I learned to read, king Arthur.

 

I love the name seamstress. Lol. Sounds like hot medieval girls at work. Where you can tell a man oi! Wait outside, women at work here.

Anyway, I just put in Celtic Medieval wedding gowns photos on Google, and they have a bunch of cool looking ones....Here are two of them....softer, at least.....go for soft and not ungiving fabrics....

 

If someone showed up at my door wearing that I think they would want to practice witchcraft on me.

Never been with a women who wore anything like that in my life.
