I was mad about kids not being given vaccinations,

 

I went through the same drama with my kid...for a while there the antivac movement had legs....thank Christ we smashed it down.....next we go after people who think the flu vaccine will make you sick....peter

Sounds like getting rabies vaccination shots in the belly.

 

I am not in a cleaning mood yet today but I need to get my head in the game and finish up....only did the family room/den so far......I would kill for a pot head cleaning lady about now

 

I think parents that refuse to vaccinate their children for the myriad of serious childhood diseases and sicknesses are borderline insane.

That being said - there is a good bit of research out there now that is also saying the flu shots are not all that they claim to be. In fact, I listened to a doctor talk about it on tv yesterday (or day before). When I was working with the public I would usually get a cold that then led to bronchitis every winter; but that was only when I was having to (being forced to!) handle money. I've never had the flu vac and haven't had the flu in at least 30 yrs.

My ridiculously healthy soon to be 98 yr old mother got a flu shot several years - when she was around 90 - 93...Those were the ONLY years I ever remember her getting really sick. During the winter she may get a runny nose for a couple of days and that is it.

Maybe they just don't make good flu vaccine for us here in the US. lol

You're more likely getting the flu from going into the healthcare facility to get the flu shot than you are just staying home.

Going away for the weekend to my Daughter's.. can't wait, and she lives in such a beautiful part of the country.. omg the animals she has Soooo many! Some good photos to be had.. my baby chilli is looking a big boy now, can't wait to show you..(dragon)

 

Not a nice thought.. but it is a killer to some.. we should walk around with those face masks like the Chinese do..
