lasagna in the oven

it was the last one at the store and the box was open but the package inside was ok...i hate that when people open things in the grocery store...or poke at the meat

im going to add cheese on top (st alberts of course)..they are cheap with the cheese

I have made some of the best pesto with the basil I grew this summer. Tonight Mama and I had pesto and pasta (thin spaghetti noodles).


It was so good...and I taste that garlic. Mama said "This is hot! This is HOT isn't it?!? " :rofl:

She's never had pesto, I don't think. She said "if you put salt on it, its better."

idc...it was good. lol

 

they sell overproof booze in Quebec so I am heading to la belle province as soon as I ca manage

 

I love pesto.....there are several kinds I have tried

 

Fired up the bbq... chicken and baked potato.

Might be the last warm day for awhile... I'm so not looking forward to winter.

no snow here yet but last week i saw a few flakes in the air

 

We have overcast right now, snow set to fall in the next two hours. How romantic. I love first snow fall. It melts away but just that niceness to it.

I've pulled out a new pair of black sheepskin boots. so I feel comfy and cute and warm. I love winter.

 

I would guess all seasons are awesome I the german alps....what elevation is your village irminsul?

 

ohio river valley is to be warm and wet this winter. limited artic air. so says predicted jet stream..80f today. .

 

923 meter just a little over 3000 feet. The highest ski run is a couple hundred hundred meters higher.

Its going to flurry then rain and then snow properly.

Just when I was beginning to enjoy the lighter burden on the old wallet as per the utility bills, along comes yet another week of temps over 100F...UGH!!!!
107 forecasted for tomorrow through Tuesday and slowly dropping from there, but the nights are gonna be in the 60's-50's....ah, the joys of desert life.....
these huge swings from day to nights temps is playing havoc with my sinus' and the winds in the morning/afternoon are killer....and not in a good way.
