Yeah, I inject methotrexate every monday evening. Actually, my wife does it for me because I hate sticking a needle into myself.

The methotrexate has been awesome for me in terms of reducing my pain and stiffness from the RA, but it makes me feel nauseous and sick for a couple of days after, which sucks. Weed definitely helps with that! Even a small amount that doesn't get me high still helps my stomach feel better and makes it easier to eat.

 

I read before about deep pressure massaged on the foot that elevate sciatic back pain in all the areas that hurt me. I'm interested but there's one major design flaw in that whole plan. I'm ticklish and I've given the boot involuntarily to the missus in the face a few times she's tried to touch me there. >.<

I'm guessing a lot of this has to do with 5 piggies went to the market one day and the little one runs eeeeeee we eeeeeee we eeeeeee all the way home.

She takes her methotrexate in pill form and then gets an enbrel injection once a week (at least I think its once a week). Her daughter gives her the injections because she can't stand to do that to herself either. I dang sure couldn't do it to myself or anybody else. lordymercy!

But she goes through the same nausea and feeling like hell sometimes too.

That arthritis is something else...lots of people don't have any idea what people with severe arthritis have to go through.

If you HAVE to do it, no one to do it for you, you would, believe it or not, it hurts less if you do it yourself..

 

none of you need to hit veins though right?.....I used to inject my gf for her head aches but it was like an epi-pen where you just smash it against your ass and it automatically sticks you and also presses the plunger down and does the injection

We both use pens with needles, but yeah, intermuscular.
The little one has only ever used pens, I date back to little bottles and horrible needles lol, so I'm loving my pens lol

How old is she?

 

She is now 11, been injecting herself since she was 8, only other person that was allowed to inject her was her Dad, but even he isn't allowed now.. she has done mine a couple years ago..very funny..

My triplet grandaughters will be 11 years old at the end of this month.


My husband used to take insulin and I love giving him his shots, in the belly.

 

I mostly use my belly, depends what I'm wearing and where we are.. hurts the least.
