ive also done mescaline and ketamine and a whole mess of other drugs, but i dont know if those are psychedelics or whatnot

 

Mescaline is, K is like PCP

 

I ve never done any drugs or illegal supstances..
Not even pot...nothing.

PCP is also considered a hallucinogen, meaning it has no effective toxicity, but because it mimics noradrenaline, people get the sense of invicibility and do stupid stunts, yet their bodies can break just as easily.

 

i did mushrooms and acid quite a bit when i was in my late teens and throughout my 20's. probably the last time i "tripped" i was in my early 30's.

But, I guess thats half the appeal, rediscovering life through new eyes.
And the other half would be cut in half, 1/4 being spirtual realization, and the other 1/4 laughing your ass off

 

A lot of people use psychedelics in party situations, which is stupid. These people do not understand psychedelics. They are not to be used in these settings, and it's almost pointless to do so. Psychedelics should be used in a more spiritual way, in a quiet setting, away from other people (given you are not a first-time user). A dimly-lit room and a comfortable position is ideal. Being around tons of people and in noisy environments is counter-productive and can lead to negative experiences. I cannot understand people who use psychedelics for fun. When I used them, it was to learn.

 

I'm happy with my beer and the occasional cigar.

 

every time i did it, it was for fun, but it wasnt in party situations, just with like 3 or 4 people at the most. i dont think i would have been able to handle it by myself. i dont even really like smoking pot by myself.

 

K is still pretty psychedelic, from what I hear, but I haven't tried it. A psychedlic dissociative, or whatever.

 

Not all hallucinogens are psychedelic though. "Psychedelic" is simply a sub-class of hallucinogenic drugs.

Considering this, I shouldn't have listed diphenhydramine, as it is considered more of a deleriant, which also causes hallucinations, but very little psychedelia.

 

I never said either of them arent hallucinagens, I've tried them both several times

Hallucinogen is a misnomer, but it generally only refers to drugs with no measurable LD50 (Lethal dose). The only drugs in this class are:

LSD (and analogues)
Mescaline (Peyote)
Psilocybin and Psilocin (Shrooms)
DMT
THC (Marijuana)
PCP

Nah...I probably wont try it. I dont see the point. And I dont feel the need to try it.

 

I agree, so many friends I have doing acid or shrooms at a party. I always think its such a waste.

I've never done acid, always wanted to but I live in santo domingo, is not easy to get and whenever its around its never the right setting, people, time and shrooms I've only done once and for me has been one of the greatest experiences with drugs.. was very trippy and goofy but what I felt afterwards was very spiritual changing.
I always feel like people who are afraid to do psychedelics are afraid of their own mind, I mean its a whole new world in there.
