Psychedelic Bump XXXIV

happy newyears guys!

 

bump.
I smoked 20+ mg of dmt and had a very mushroom like pleasant trip, I saw some grey alien looking at me. He looked kinda wrinkled like a shar pei dog.
after this, more than one hour later after midnight:
I smoked 50+ mg of dmt. When the fireworks went crazy around me. This was the strongest experience in my life so far.
I passed out before the third hit. My bong is hitting too hard. (I could smoke 100mg with ease )
I was 0 and 1 and everything was so smooth. I have heard the sound. the pitch going up in the frequency.
I was sure I had broken my brain.... It was indescribable. A state that I would describe as "Too much DMT".
The only thing I was sad about is that I always forget to close my eyes. I remember seeing fractal like crystal formations behind my eyelids while I was still inhaling... But I spent most of the experience with eyes open not recognising the world because everything was so smooth and alien.

Cant wait to do it again

 

I was thinking about that 50 mg dmt experience and when I peaked and all reality disappeared, I felt like I was digitalised and the space that I was in was basically a cube made of fractals.
Exactly like the picture. I think I saw myself in a cube because of the layout of the room I smoked it in.

I started researching and there is a wikipedia article. its called a Menger sponge.

I just read an erowid report that recalls hearing 5-MeO-DMT referred to as the Power and n,n-DMT referred to as the Glory. Thought that was kinda neat.

I taught myself how to understand geometric series by deriving the series for the Cantor set, then the Sierpinski Carpet, then the Menger Sponge (1-D, 2-D & 3-D versions of the same fractal). It is one of the simplest fractals and it has lots of interesting and fun properties. The Sierpinski Carpet, for example can be used to create antennas that can accommodate multiple frequencies due to its scaled self similarity, and I believe some CPU architectures are based on its shape.

last I tripped in bitter cold wasnt very comfortable. I need weather I can disappear into the woods naked if necessary.. west nile is easier to deal with than frostbite.. ;p

Bump for 250mg of Benzedrex(propylhexadrine), which is a powerful and long-lasting stimulant related to methamphetamine. I couldn't sleep, or I wouldn't have dosed it. It's decent though. It's a fairly euphoric high, and there are even waves where it feels like you're rolling. It even has some very mild psychedelic qualities, in my experience; especially when it comes to music appreciation.

It's been so long that I've had any QUALITY psychedelics(almost two years), because I'm broke and can't find any, so I have to settle for Benzedrex

2014 was quite a year. At a psychedelic New Year's ceremony 1/1/2014 I said something to the effect that the previous year had been so amazingly good that it would be some kind of hubris or something to hope that 2014 would be anywhere close to as good. And 2014 started well with that psychedelic get-together. There was something involving psychedelics about every month until August, like forest gatherings, festies, friends and so on, some good travel and hanging out times, living the life.

My life began veering off-course in the fall - affected by a family health-related issue - kind of a common age-related problem. November and December were the worst months of my life. So much sorrow. 2015 up and down so far. We're working hard to adapt to difficult realities. Some very good things happening, but still the bad and the sorrow. In the past two months I've cried more and deeper than in all my adult life.

So many years since my first acid trip in 1968. From across that span of time I can testify to the reality of great benefit received (like grace, really) from psychedelics. I'm grateful for those first trips, for the opportunity to live out the psychedelic vision, for RCs and botanicals in the journey back into psychedelic mind, and I'm grateful for a lot more... and thanks to Hip Forums for helping along the way.

How's everyone been?

Any of you folks ever tried IV DMT? I got myself ahold of 50mg of DMT fumarate prepared through a method that allows it to be clean enough to IV unlike most extractions, and my friend's holding that for me until I'm ready for a nice trip. I've never had much luck breaking through with smoked DMT so I feel like this'll be the perfect way to do it, particularly given that I've developed quite a heavy IV opiate habit over the last year so I'm not exactly unfamiliar with needles or un-keen on this ROA - but yeah I'd love to hear from a few others who've tried it first before I go ahead with it

 

i've only been in that trip sit chatroom once. i just learned about it the other day. actually...i went in there pretending to be having a difficult trip on LSD. they handled me pretty well hahah.

It seemed pretty pulpy, but I read most of it and it was actually a pretty interesting quick read on the history of the RC "movement".

I knew a lot of the stuff, but one of the things I found really interesting was that mephedrone was actually invented by a forumer from one of the old drug chemistry boards. I guess that adding a methyl to methcathinone is a pretty simple modification, but it's pretty cool that such a popular drug was conceived completely independently of the pharmeceutical/scientific community; it was just discovered by an as-of-yet anonymous DIY chemist.

So who has tried mephedrone? What did you think of it?

what are your thoughts on IV drug use in general? I tend to think of it as just another ROA, but sometimes I am forced to admit that there is something different about it. A lot of my friends have recently started IM/IV ketamine use and there are constant debates (especially from their girlfriends) about the merits of IV drug use. I keep hearing the "don't buy into the stigma" argument from them, but its pretty hard to agree with them when you see them stumbling around at 3am in bloody sweatpants and leaving uncapped needles in the couch where I'm chilling. I don't know about it man.

I don't like to be moved by societal perceptions of drug use in general, but I find it hard not to take issue with the IV ROA. It really does seem to amplify people's addictions in my anecdotal experience. I guess it does depend on the drug, though. IV opiate and ketamine use certainly seems to be a bad idea, but it might just be a better ROA for certain psychedelics. I just don't know if I'd be able to pull the needle out of my arm if I just shot up DMT. Personally, I think that plugging things is a better way to go if you really want to bypass the digestive tract.

 

i guess i have "bought into the stigma." i never came close to injecting myself with anything. that would never have been acceptable to my wife, who i've lived with for the past 6 years or so. MAYBE if i was single all those years, i might have considering IMimg DPT for example, or some other psychedelic where oral dosing is not feasible. i would have confidence in my sterile technique and otherwise not being a shithead like leaving uncapped needles in the couch...eek!

but really my response to royaltramp's IV habit was more about the habit part of it. i guess it's not very common to do opiates sparingly, let alone IV opiates. i've seen a few people struggle with opiate addiction, so i'm sorry to see anyone going through that. not trying to sound as judgmental as i probably do..

 

Haha I went in the other day just to see if anyone was active and typed "I'm freaking out" and a bunch of people responded. I felt kinda mean so I just went with it and had them help me through one of my past difficult experiences as if it were currently happening. Nice group of people!

i had the same idea, i guess i wanted to see what they would tell me. i pretended that my acid wasn't working. it took them a little while to say that i shouldn't take more..and a little longer to mention NBOMe...but they did. i guess they passed my silly "test"

then i told them what i had just done..only one person took major offense and told me to not waste their time. i apologized.
he said they get people in there everyday asking for real help.....i wonder how many of them are jerks like us haha.
