Psychedelic Bump XXXIV

i don't think you or i had breakthrough trips on DMT. i think it's probably one of those things that you KNOW when it happens.
but..i did come relatively close on one particular trip.

you pretty much described the visuals for me spot on. very kaleidoscopic, and they seem to get closer and closer to me with eyes closed.
i also didn't listen to this part of the McKenna doc.

the "tunnel" and "dome" i'm not sure that i saw. but i did feel that i "saw" or was in the presence of some alien-type beings. i imagined them as having dreadlocks and wearing a suit made up of the fabric of space-time or something like that. and i was in a room where the walls were made of this "space-time" material, allowing the aliens to move in and out freely, and pop in and out of physical space and show up wherever they wanted. i wasn't thinking of it as space-time at the moment, i called it in my head a concrete suit, and imagined that the wearer of such a suit could move freely into and out of concrete walls.

i felt that i was in a waiting room, and if i had gotten called in to "see the doctor"...i would have broken through.


i have spent the majority of my DMT trips with eyes closed, it just feels natural. but when i have opened my eyes, i haven't noticed a HUGE difference. maybe some melting and morphing and i think a lot of glittering of my surroundings.


so not a compare/contrast, but that is my one DMT trip

 

also, "bump" for an absurd amount of sleep deprivation coupled with an emotional monsoon - thanks to the recent birth of my daughter! :baby:

I find the fact that two people who are not related or have never heard of each other whatsoever can take the same substance and go to the same place and meet the same entities absolutely mind blowing.

Oh my goodness, my cousin called me out of the blue today to ask me if he can crash on my couch on Wednesday because he lives 2 hours away and is leaving for a trip from the airport in my city the next day.

He said he had a gift for me.

It's DMT.

 

Bump for not having any psychedelics, other than weed, since Bicycle Day of 2013! It's fuckin terrible, but I just haven't had the opportunity. And to top it off, the Bicycle Day trip wasn't even with Lucy, but 25i-NBOMe. I haven't even had MXE or any other RC's since then.

Shivaya - I'm really feeling the "seasonal tripping" thing. Although I do tend to trip alot lately, I find lots of my best trips are based around seasonal holidays/events going on around the area. A "Festive Mood" in the air certainly constitutes for a good trip I say! I see you've come across some DMT, you lucky soul you! I recently tried some a couple weeks back. Some nice, yellow pieces that turned into an oily substance when burned, smoke seems infinite, although I could do without the flavour!

TopNotch - The lack of LSD in these times is tres lame man, hope some comes your way in the not so distant future! I feel really privileged to get it multiple times a year. Something you shouldn't take for granted, that's for sure.

Brief DMT Summary - A blue portal opened up in my buddies room, and I began soaring through it very quickly into different rearranged variations of the room. Our rooms in our place have lower attic ceilings and is over 100 years old, with lots of arabic carpets and cool plaster pictures and metal statue artwork artwork made by buddy's dad. Sugar skull people met me with top hats off at each new entrance to each new room made from the old one. They didn't have eyes, so they saw through these beautiful third eyes that were endlessly growing and changing as flowers in the middle of their foreheads. I began to laugh because it felt like a very silly place, but then I was told to observe myself... I looked down and my legs were a red Chinese dragon that stretched as far as the tunnel went with many legs, it was my DMT form at the time, flying through this interesting existence. Upon opening my eyes, my legs were still stretched as the Dragon, and I could see as far in the tunnel as the last room I got, these weird "electrical lines" that sent bright lights and signals throughout the world. The blue walls almost like glass, beyond them outer space. As fast as it came, it went, slowly returning my human form to me. Quite interesting, but I didn't "grasp" a lot of the details they happened so quickly.

Also, I feel you on the idea of tripping when a festive mood is in the air. For instance, MDMA around christmas time when people are spending time with their families and are on vacation, in a reduced stress state, is sweet. You can really feel it!

 

Wow, that's quite the recollection. That's impressive you could retain that much, let alone be able to put it into words. I haven't done it myself but I picture like it would be hard to bring back an experience.

 

A helicopter ride isn't usually a casual thing. How are you?

 

A dozen psychedelics in my stash yet I haven't tripped since July 5th. I guess it's not the worst thing to abstain for that long but I miss them. I also don't feel like I have the right set or setting. Time will tell. Hopefully the freezer keeps them well preserved for when I do decide to dive in. I feel like when I do trip next it would be on 4-HO-MET or mushrooms. I've never solo tripped on mushrooms.

Still haven't tried the ones in [x].

4-AcO-DMT, 4-HO-MiPT, [4-HO-MET], [4-AcO-MET], [HOT-7], 2C-E, 2C-I, 25i NBOMe, 5-MeO-MiPT, [LSZ], Mushrooms, and [DMT].

 

Yes you definitely know when the breakthrough happens. It doesn't happen every time for me even with the same batch and dose. I mean I will still trip hard but it's not the same. I have found it helps to go in with good intent if that makes any sense. Like what you encounter will be more willing to teach you if they think you want to learn and have not come just to be high. I have noticed the same thing on Saliva but that energy has ZERO time for recreational highs. DMT is a little more forgiving.

 

yeah that is quite the stash, pop. especially when you trip so rarely.

my stash is at 8 substances, with brackets around those i have not tried:

2ce, 2cb, [2cp], [methylone], 4-aco-dmt, 4-ho-mipt, DMT, LSD.

ever since a 2cb trip on 4-13-13, i have only tripped on miprocin or LSD.
i guess it's been ...10 trips on miprocin and 9 on LSD since then though

i'm hoping that my storage conditions are keeping things potent for a while too, since it will be some time before i can trip again.

 

Are you saying you think the LSD might go bad?I thought it has a long shelf life.

For me, I put my baggies in a small jar with rice and several desiccants inside and then put that in the freezer. There's little orange beads in the desiccant that will turn blue when exposed to moisture. They're still orange so that's a good sign as far as moisture goes. Doesn't look like any have degraded besides 4-HO-MiPT which happened a while back :bigcry:

My friend had some red shivas and tried some recently and they had diminished in potency by a lot. He stored them fairly well, in several plastic baggies, between the pages of a book, in a dark cupboard. But I guess it's been a few years since they were made and he didn't refrigerate . . . makes me think my stuff must be really weak now. I have a sizeable stash, too many to list, half of them still haven't tried . . . haven't tripped other than 20mg 2c-b, for 2.5 YEARS! Crazy. date with lucy coming up soon though, hopefully its still useable, i really need my head blown off, lots of changes in my life in this time.
