Yeh you see that bit when Terence says "So.......(long pause).......Well, so what" haha I've watched that a few times now, first time I've seen Terence lost for words but that was a hilarious recovery lol

pinback was pretty good last night. i decided not to take any LSD for the show, so i might drop a couple hits after breakfast here in an hour or so :daisy:
it's a beautiful day outside, and those are becoming less and less plentiful and fall rapidly approaches...

Cows are generally pretty calm. Just be careful when you are near them, as they can kick to the side, and not backwards as one might expect.

Cows are pretty cool, at least the domesticated ones, because they respond pretty well to being called, or shooed away.

Also pork, hope you enjoyed that acid!

i enjoyed the heck out of it! thanks.

i set out on a bike ride to a different park than the one i normally go to. it's a bit farther away, and i'm not familiar with it, so i was hesitating when i first started out. then i found a different, smaller park between here and there (closer to my apt.) so i went there. i ended up locking my bike to a tree and exploring this wooded / marshy area for awhile.

then i rode to my normal park, and laid on the grass under a pine tree and watched it morph and fractalize.
then i went home, took a couple bong hits, and went on the same bike ride again - in reverse.
went back to the pine tree and laid down some more. then back to the woods / marsh and fucking got LOST!

i was kinda joking with myself in my head like "what if you get lost?"
"ha, that would be so hard. these woods are too easy"
and before i knew it, i was on the other side of the marsh with like 8-10 foot tall cat-tail plants, and thick mud. i was kinda going into panic mode and almost running through the woods, got tangled up in some pricker bush when i decided to STOP, breath, and check myself.

it was a good little adventure, and i made it out alive :)

towards the end of the night, my ear would NOT pop. i was having quite a hard time with that, as it felt extra bizarre on the LSD come-down.

and i watched a couple movies.

anyone ever see the movie Mr. Nobody? it's on Netflix, starring Jared Leto. really fucking trippy - in a bad trip kinda way. i would recommend at least watching the first 10-15 minutes to see if you like it. it's about the last mortal man on earth - about to die at 120 years old (or maybe 117). everyone else lives forever..

something else for you guys to check out on Netflix - Drugs Inc. - the Hallucinogen episode

around the 15 minute mark of this episode, a DEA agent talks about absorbing 1,000 hits of LSD during a raid. it was pretty funny, but only for a little bit :( he had some pretty serious and long-lasting side effects.

but then he goes on to say that taking LSD is like playing Russian Roulette. "if the gun goes bang, you're dead."
which is obviously not true, so his whole story could be bullshit now...

at ~35 minutes, there is a middle-aged man, with a wife and daughter, who grows magic mushrooms and takes them once per month to ward off cluster headaches. these are not the same as migraines, which i've been guilty of confusing the two (by recommending that my friend who gets migraines try magic mushrooms - OOPS! i don't think she did though)

anyways, this guy does NOT enjoy tripping though. his headaches are so bad that he considered suicide, and nothing else worked to treat them. but if he eats psilocybin mushrooms once per month i think it was (dunno the dose), he doesn't get the cluster headaches. pretty awesome.

Bump for 2c-b and lsd(first try) at a techno event tomorrow...Rodhad and Phase are playing, some good Berlin minimal as I like it :)
2c-b is quite a strange compound. I have taken it on various occasions and different settings and I decided I won't take it if there isn't music playing!
We took around 15-17mg with my tripping buddy M. and went on a walk in the city by night...I like to do that on mdma too, especially if it's a warm night...Colours at night can be spectacular! Anyway my friend rolls a joint, we smoke it and after a while I can see he's getting really confused and can hardly talk...He kept repeating : "I don't get it, how can you be so cool about this?" We decided not to smoke until the comedown and after a feww hours, he came back to his senses, still fragile but good enough to roll another joint :)
I have to add, this wasn't his first time using it, and even when he enjoyed it at times, he always gets this "episode"...
I love the way he put it, he said something like : "when I look at you on 2c-b, it's like you're riding a big fucking wave, balls out, enjoying every second of it...while I fell from my board, trying to get above the water to catch a breath during the whole trip..."
I usually advise my friends who aren't into psychedelics to start with 2c-b, but most of the time they're reacting the same way than he does...I don't think 2c-b is as mild as some pretend it to be, to be frank. But I also know we all react very differently to these substances. I'm just glad I found the one that fits me like a glove :)

Anyone gets this feeling of "getting stuck in a bubble" like my friend does on 2c-b?

@Porkstock : Hey man I've watched "Mr Nobody", it's been made by my fellow countryman Jaco Van Dormael. The orignal movie(the last one being a remake), he's done back in the nineties is called "Toto, mon héros" and is worth watching as well!!!

    oh, i didn't know that movie was a re-make.

i agree about 2c-b, not being as mild as it's reputation might make it out to see. maybe it's sort of mild for the sort of people that visit a psychedelic forum, but for "normal" people, 2c-b can be pretty intense. indeed, it can be pretty intense even for "psychonauts" with higher doses. i don't experience much of a trip until at least 30 mg. i've tried up to 45 mg, which was quite a strong trip.

my wife (who doesn't trip much) tried 20 mg once, and found it to be quite intense. she thought it was just as strong as taking a hit of LSD. she also became very uncomfortable in public, and rather nauseated.

Above 25mg I get a pretty nasty bodyload, not unbearable, but until I settle down, I'm all twitchy and contracted...My sweet spot being in the 17-20mg range.
On the other hand, my friend rides his acid trips much smoother than I do...we kind of inverse roles on lsd :) But that's my point, I don't think 2c-b can ever put you in that very mental headspace lsd can. It is much heavier on the body, but I always get comfortable after the come-up because my mind is not messing with me, if that makes any sense :)

Good night to you all! It's quite late down here...

:beatnik: :bomb: :bulb: BUMP for ALD-52, 6-APB, DMT & DPT :bulb: :chef: :afro:

Excited! ALD-52 making our way to our hearts once again! We certainly live in a fascinating era for psychedelics, I'll be doomed if I ever take this for granted.

Such mind candy those are, would be so cute to have some of those!

Around where I am, 2C-B has the reputation of being fairly strong, usually compared to MDMA in feeling as well as (insert random generic hallucinogen here). I found it very stimulating, but the intensity of the headspace was more mellow, easier to deal with than say a tryptamine. I know what you mean Davaro when you say that. I haven't really found the 2Cx and even 25x family to be very spiritual and otherworldly like LSD or DMT for example, and the hallucinations on them come with a homey, almost nonchalant nature rather than balls-to-the-wall intensity and philosophical thoughts.

DMT is calling my name. haven't extracted in a couple years .. it just feels like its time. actually it has been calling me for a while now, it is just getting stronger. maybe its time that i answer and purchase the bark .. and do the chemstry. I always enjoyed the chemistry, as labor intensive as it is, its always a blast.
