I'm sorry for your experience with ket p0ly. I somewhat understand where you're coming from having struggled with dissociative abuse myself. However I feel that its all about the context you use the drug under. I wouldn't call a drug which has evil properties necessarily evil. Just one that is more likely to cause addiction and one you should use less often. If you're overdoing it, you probably won't be able to understand its values very often. If its not for you though and/or gets in the way of a healthy lifestyle its good that you don't take it anymore. My girlfriend and I were just talking about this yesterday and are struggling to see eye to eye. I won't go into details since I probably shouldn't use the forums as a counselor for my relationship struggles.

Yes my own subjective experience of Ketamine is that it is an evil substance addiction wise. Back in the day it felt like a very enlightening substance, but after seeing so many people on it (here in the UK it's massive) it's quite clear Ketamine is just a heavy sedative and totally closes you down to the world.

just bought my ticket for the purple pig festival!
i'm going kinda alone, kinda with one person i know. should be a good time, but i hope i don't feel too lonely while i'm there. i guess i'll have to make some friends which shouldn't be too hard at a place like that.

of course i'd love to dose a psychedelic for such an event, but having just tripped this past sunday, it will only be about 12 days until i trip again (if i decide to). i guess tolerance shouldn't be a huge issue by that point. normally i'd dose...you guessed it - miprocin!, but since i just did....i will probably take something else. maybe one of my last red stars?...

 

The AL-LAD was pretty good. The first couple hours started out kinda slow, a psychedelic mindstate but not much of the WOW factor or as interesting sensorial effects that LSD has. However when I went to lay down in the dark things started to pick up. The visuals in the dark took off a bit, some cool hexagonal patterning and other shapes. There were Hints of synesthesia with music, the visuals slightly catered to the music but it wasn't fully encompassing due to the dose. I ended up staying up the whole night, I'm sure there are individual variations but I really do not find the AL-LAD duration notably shorter than LSD like some have suggested, I don't know why I didn't think about my previous 300 ugs AL-LAD trip when considering dosing so late.

150 ugs AL-LAD is enjoyable, very pristine and clean feeling, but it wasn't anywhere near as mindblowing or encompassing as 300 ugs.

i agree...such a hipforumey name for the festival haha

so yeah, since i just took miprocin, i think i will take something else for the festival. probably either 150 ug of LSD, or ~20 mg of 2c-e (haven't had any of this in a couple years). i considered 4-aco-dmt or 2c-b, but i'd rather have something with a longer duration for a festival. might as well.

i think i'm also gonna to bring some DMT, and i told my friend to bring his (wooden) vaporgenie. maybe we'll try to blast off in my tent.

i could also bring that "molly" that is most likely methylone...but i doubt that i would make use of it.

remember the old days when we just had threads for individual drugs like 2c-e, 4-aco-dmt, etc.? i guess that's when it was all newer to most of us, so we had more to say.


but what do you guys think of 2c-e for a music festival?

what if i were to get crazy and dose 2 days in a row? or maybe thursday night and saturday night?

i'd probably want to take LSD the first night, so that tolerance didn't affect it. it'd be more of a shame to waste LSD than 2ce. BUT, i've heard reasons to take 2cx first, and LSD the 2nd day, because LSD binds more strongly to your receptors, it can displace 2ce...but 2ce has a hard time replacing LSD. but maybe that's only when taken as a combo, not with a day in between doses?

I've taken 2ce at a club, which I ended up flipping on with MDMA. I felt like the 2 hours of 2ce only was pretty overwhelming and I didn't really dance all that much until I took the MDMA, Also the lazers were overly intense on 2ce. It may be better in a less confining enviornment like a festival. The flip was pretty spectacular though, I was laughing, tearing and have amazing visuals. Felt more dehydrated than on MDMA alone though.

I reccommend considering 2cb and ~200 mgs methylone towards the comedown, that seems like it could potentially be a good combo for a festival. I've done 2ce and methylone as well at home, methylone tends to produce pretty pronounced jaw grinding on the latter half of the experience and kind of has a jittery edge to it which I'm not sure how it would blend with 2ce's side effects in that enviornment.

I once took 50mg of 2c-e for a concert, which was definitely a bit harsh until the music started. I remember being extremely restless and full of energy before the music started. I was looking up at the roof, with visuals swimming everywhere, and the normally dim lights playing on the walls looking very intense.

Anyway, you wouldn't take such a big dose.

I've also had good success with mushrooms/2c-e or 4-aco-dmt/2c-e at concerts. If you can get some mushrooms and take those, I can definitely reccomend it as a music enhancer. I know another old member on here used to praise the 2c-e/mushroom combo.

 

there's always the possibility of coming across some mushrooms when i'm there...which i am open to the idea of
maybe an LSD + mushroom combo... never tried that.

i took 17 mg 2c-e for a Minus the Bear concert. that was in 2010 and i've only taken 2c-e once since then, at roughly the same dose.
the concert setting worked out pretty well, other than being super hot. it was over 90 degrees (F) that day, so probably about 100 inside the crowded concert area. this summer hasn't been very hot, and this festival is outdoors obviously...so i'm thinking 2ce would be a solid choice.


i told my friend to bring his vaporgenie, so maybe i will try DMT towards the end of another psychedelic.

i hope they let me use my charcoal grill. they said personal fires are OK, so a tiny grill should be fine. they are selling food and Three Heads Brewing Co. is providing beer, but i am definitely bringing my own food and beer since it'll be a lot cheaper. i'm gonna marinate some steaks in a teriyaki type sauce. maybe some barbecue chicken as well. and beer i will probably just get some cheap cans. they have to remain at your camp site apparently though, can't bring to the concert area. decent compromise i'd say.

 

Had an earthquake in the middle of the night on the day I'm moving. Im not too near the epicenter but still trippy.
