Now imagine what it would be like to trip near one of tesla's wireless electricity towers, should they have been made a reality!

 

bump for seeing one of the best bands of my life just now!

i saw this band at a small music festival 4 years ago, and noticed that they were playing at a bar/coffee shop nearby. story of my life - i could not find anyone to go with me. one of my friends said he would go but cancelled at the last minute, so i said fuck it, i'm going alone.

and i'm so glad i did. this band was insanely. fucking. good.

they play like middle eastern, psychedelic, progressive rock. i really think you would like it, Mr. Writer.
the guy's guitar sounds a lot like a sitar much of the time. they were doing some amazing things, and pretty much blew my mind.

it would have been totally fitting to dose some LSD or something, if i wasn't driving myself home. not psychedelic, but i enjoyed two glasses of a delicious beer; Orabelle by great divide brewing company. and i danced like no one was watching, because i didn't know a single person in the place.

i think i had more fun than i would have if i went with someone else.

i hope i can catch them at a festival this summer.

 

I'll look it up, porkstock! I really dig middle eastern folk (or folk based music) and psych rock, and the combo too. Although have to admit I really love a couple of tracks that do it right and am always on the look for more in that direction. Most mixes of rock and middle eastern or eastern folk/traditional tunes do not hit it exactly on the nail for me.

I have no idea what I should imagine What would it be to trip near one of those towers? What do you think would happen?

 

The rave was splendid last night. I dosed 175 mgs MDMA with a ~40 mgs booster dose about 2 hrs in. It was a fairly light roll, some moderate color enhancement and music sounded great as always but not really strong rushes or too many trippy sensory sensations like I get from the 250 mgs all at once range but quality euphoria. I surprised myself as I was kind of chatty. Only disappointment of the evening was I planned on meeting up with someone but my phone battery ran out.

 

bump. Glowstick Rave! I started the day with DMT, then I got stoned.... then I dropped 220 mg of mdma on a half full stomach ( dosing 2 110mg hits) while occasionally licking a hit of acid...

It was a festival... warehouse raves, tents, techno tunnels, small tents, cars with speakers, big and small stages everywhere.

I had a blue glowin lightsaber...

nuff said.

 

Awesome man, I'm jealous of that! I'm pretty sure they're another American band that will never make it farther north. All three of those guys are awesome musicians.

Haha, it's a good question! I think it would feel pretty strange. Electricity actually being passed through your brain!

Or actually, I suppose it might be similar to cell phone towers. Perhaps electricity converted to magnetism or something. Maybe more of a trip for your compass than a person, haha. :2thumbsup:

 

wow, i'm surprised you have heard of them. they are indeed some great musicians. their interplay or dynamic or whatever you might call it is so good - the way that they play off of each other's notes or how they "respond" to what the other person just played...

and i must say that their live show blows away any recording i've heard.

We still have to get together and have a mescaline induced cellphone feedback jam band. I bet if you got enough people in on the conference call and did it at the top of the mountain near the transmitter towers you could fuck up peoples cellphone reception for a bit,

For some reason tripping makes me vehemently against cellphone usage. Every time I trip I end up smashing my phone or throwing it in a river

Looked them up, dig their jams so far!

Tried BK-2C-B in lower dosages (approx. 130mg) the other night. It was very nice, very much like a calmer "ecstacy", head tingles and everything for a good 8 hours. Little visuals at that dose, a bit of a "crawly" thing on the walls going on for a short time. Mild nausea at some points during the couple hour comeup. Stomach turned for the entire time, but it wasn't bothersome. Went for a long walk, met some new people, great for bonding. Sleep was hard to achieve but not uncomfortable. Felt great the next day, no nasty come down.

 

Awesome, that is exactly what a concert should be like! Yeah they do have great chemistry, and that is what makes bands worth seeing live IMO. When they play something that is feeding off of their energy and the crowd energy and everything.. ahh

I can't remember where I heard of them, but I listened to them for the first time a few years back and was hooked on their style.


Colimon - how does BK-2CB compared to straight 2C-B? If you have tried both?

electronics always seem to act very strangely when im on drugs and some times I think something crazy has to be goin on, then i realize that the user is on drugs and thats why

at the festival i first saw them at, they played the night before my brother and i dosed these super good red shiva hits. it was my bro's first time tripping

 

Cannbiss - No sorry, I have only tried 2C-P and 2C-I. It felt significantly less potent than those two, and it was lacking in the visual department. It was, however, just as potent in the physical/empathetic aspects of the trip. Less nasty, chesty side effects too, didn't feel restricted by weights on my ribs or too much nausea. I don't really know how strong it gets or how much the body load increases from more than 80mg+50mg though. I definitely noticed it felt exponentially more potent plus more side effects after re-dosing, so I'd be cautious and gradually build up if you mean to explore this compound more.

Thanks, pretty mild trip. I feel like due to dosing in the daytime and probably potency loss, It's nowhere near the intensity of my previous trip on allenii at this dose.
