It was pleasant, a more floaty mxe experience. I agree that long term MXE is likely similar to ket.

i'm very confused about your comments regarding kratom though; it is an opioid agonist, and addiction to it is very crippling and very real.

google quickly pulls up many internet posts of people trying to get off it and also experiencing classic opioid agonist withdrawls:

    etc...

here's a nice journal of somebody trying to kick a 4 month daily kratom habit (http://www.drugs-forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=187030)

Even speaking from personal experience this stuff is just as addictive as oxycodone to me. I am straight up having control issues in using it and you guys know how sparing and careful I am with my substances.

I have very mixed feelings about Facebook. While I think it is a data mining machine that I don't trust, it also allows me to keep in touch with people who I'd otherwise simply not keep in touch with. I try and balance this by just not saying too much about my life on there, although even I think I've already said too much :p

it also acts as a free online picture storage for me, a way to quickly share my photography with people.

There is also a disturbing trend among Human Resources personnel who are unlikely to hire someone without a facebook profile. It of course depends on your industry (doesn't apply as much to higher end jobs like doctors or lawyers, or lower end jobs like waiters or mechanics), but the numbers don't lie and many HR people have admitted to this practice. The thinking behind it is "Well, why don't you have facebook? What are you hiding? Do you lack social skills?" and they make a personal judgement, which results in no call back for you. Of course those people who DO have FB and have pictures of them on there that shouldn't be, they also don't get callbacks.

Social media sure is interesting. Must always take care that you are using it and it is not using you.

Well, well, well...20mg gave a psychedelic run through the wringer and no joke, even with tolerance. Setting was imperfect and right at the peak we had cause to worry someone might be nextdoor whom we might be disturbing. It made the whole thing imperfect and unpleasant. From what I can tell it is a great level and if I could pick a setting that was guaranteed-ideal I would do this dose again...gonna take a break from it as a whole for a while through.

Since the trip took a somewhat anxiogenic turn we opted not to take the re-dose. My buddy did have a great time on 14mg.

oh man, that's too bad. at least you found a good active level for yourself now ;)

i hope i didn't hastily recommend too high of a dose for you..
18 mg might have been a better idea?

did the nervous energy from the comeup persist into the trip?

    now i know...

i thought "overqualified" meant i was too old. apparently i'm "too old" cause i refuse to play Facebook. maybe i should make a Facefuck page and fill it with propaganda aimed at getting some HR person to actually look at my resume.

It's addictive but withdrawals seem to be headaches/foggy-headedness, anedhonia, depression, anxiety, stomach pain. I get all of that from quitting cannabis and for every one person who had 'strong' symptoms, there's probably at least 10 who would describe it as tantamount to quitting coffee.

There's a reason people taper off the harder opiates with kratom and regard it highly for helping them control their habit. For them kratom actually weakens their withdrawals to manageable levels from oxycodone/heroin/etc while satisfying the brain in the same area.

Not very many people have problems with kratom. it's over-hyped like the whole drug scene.

Has anyone in this thread dosed Miprocin at 26mg? I was talking to a non-forum friend semi-recently, and he said for his third trip on the substance dosed 24-26mg, said scale had small margin of error, and was FULLY immersed in psychedlia, both miind and body were out there. Its one of the psychs ive wanted to try for a while now, but could never locate, or when i did locate it, never had the funds. Hopefully ill be getting a small bonus for end of year from work, so ill have a little money to invest in some tripadelics start of 2014!

Nah, no blame to you buddy. The primary problem was setting and we could not have predicted it would have gone sour.

Strange that this trip had much less of the nervous energy feeling, and way less physical shivering, than the previous two. I attribute this to tripping in a warmer room, and perhaps to some effects of tolerance.

I wouldn't say the problem was nervous energy of any physical kind, it was a psychological panic brought on by setting considerations.

In terms of symptoms, it was a bomb trip. Sweet colors and patterns all over everything, lost my sense of visual scale to an extent (my buddy looked like a pint-sized dwarf across the room), great swirly kaleidoscopic CEV's.

i tried miprocin at 23 mg, and it was pretty immersive. i remember getting lost to a live version of one of my favorite songs (Stab by Built to Spill). it wasn't quite as visually strong as raga's trip from 20 mg that he just described. and probably not quite as intense as your friend described. i don't seem to get crazy visuals all that easily though.

23 mg is the highest i've went, cuz i recall some negative side effects starting to become slightly apparent. 20 mg is a great level of intensity - without any negatives.

i'm sure 30 or more is a whole 'nother ball game though..which i'm not ruling out giving a try someday. but for now i'm ok with "only" ~20 mg. or maybe a touch more.

it seems way more potent than 4-aco-dmt for me, but the trip is more mellow and not quite as deep as 4aces, which i have to take ~35 mg or more for a solid trip.

i really should have stocked up on miprocin when i had the chance. it was readily available, and i got ~750 mg. i ended up 'sharing' not quite half of it with a friend. i should have kept it for the future. because of course the source has vanished...and now i've only got ~325 mg left, only 5 months later. i wouldn't mind having a stash of miprocin around for decades to come.

nice! my last trip was on two white blotters. i think i'll take 4 or 5 next time. one is enough to trip...but i wanna save these for the perfect time and go for it

Yeah but all those people you keep in touch with - do you really need to? I find it eliminated several hundred superficial relationships which were a waste of energy anyways. I still talk/see the people I want to.

Thats good to know. I guess ill try a careful dose without my girlfriend and see where it takes me before feeding it to her.

you could just be more selective of who you are friends with. i have a handful out of like 400 people that i'm "friends" with, that i care to interact with. if i had like 40 FB friends, there would be less bullshit to wade through.

i enjoy making jokes and stuff with some old friends on there that i never see anymore. and i've actually just made some plans to see one of them when i'm home for xmas. wouldn't have done that without FB, since i don't even have his phone number

At some point it becomes about weighing the pros and cons though. In my case, I was wasting all my time on facebook and it was bringing me more negative than positive.

I might get facebook again later but I want to take some distance first. That was the original strategy, but I am now surprised at how much I dont miss it, so I might just not get it again.

it is really ridiculous how much drama that website can bring.

i lost one of my best friends, in part, because of a snide comment i made on there.

Bump for getting a ticket for Astrix and Infected Mushroom in a week and a half. Infected Mushroom is playing a DJ set and a live band set, pretty excited about this show.
