Interesting discussion on the nbome's. I was interested to try 25i recently but the risks seem to be more prevalent than I was thinking.

I think I am done with Kratom. I don't think this substance has more to offer than a chilled-out mood and some nausea.

Well, it would be quite a rarity if it was on real LSD.

Because I tripped for three days.
My previous experiences researching nbomes only lasted for 6-8 hours.

I seem to have a better time mixing 25i with other substances mipt, homet, ect... a few times I had the best times ever.. it was also not the middle of winter,.. however Ive plenty use alone with nothing really bad to say about it.

Ive imagined that 25i would be like heavy traffic on a very narrow road. taking these other substances is like opening a side road. traffic flows. . :D

    Oh, I didn't realize that.

Like literally, three days? Because even on DOX, though you technically may, you don't REALLY trip for days, you just feel very slightly speedy (life, cup of coffee speedy) and have tip-of-the-tongue syndrome and mildly psychedelic thoughts for a while, after an initial experience around the length of LSD, in my personal experience.

    So.... bromo-dragonfly?

Or maybe the seizure was part of something that triggered an internal reaction, of some sort?

Ended up spending the night chatting to some of my friends from years ago online and having some really nice catch up chat :) this was the first time trialling mdma solo.

Being by yourself physically but talking with people electronically does not count as "solo" mdma experience ;) try being alone and turning your phone and computer off . . . now that shit is an experience in patience ;P

btw meditating on psychedelics . . . Volupta said that the ultimate test for a zen master would be to meditate through an entire LSD trip. I mean really it becomes mind-bendingly difficult to even formulate a solid train of thought or focus on one "thing" when "thing" starts to become a more fluid concept or disappear altogether, or of course when there starts to not be someone there to meditate.

MDMA is pretty high energy for meditation, would be adding challenge mode to something that is already one of the most difficult things to do (real meditation).

What I'm saying is for all intents and purposes the two are incompatible. Meditation is simply quite an opposite direction from what psychedelics create, which an explosion of content, meaning, direction . . . Meditation ultimately is a mind-blanking experience, even if along the way there can be fascinating phenomenon to witness internally.

I will try myself next time on an appropriate trip. This combination really interests me for what it can reveal about meditation, psychedelics, and I.

i don't know much about meditation, but when i took 4 hits and "meditated" at the park in the snow....it felt like it was working. :)

it blanked my mind to some extent so that i was much more focused on the ever-changing present moment.

I, too, know little about meditation.

It's seemed to go quite well with LSA, though I find LSA MUCH more dreamy and sedative than LSD. I've never tried it on any other substance, besides pot.

I've had success with meditation on LSD, MDMA, DMT, Mescaline and a few others, no pro tho. I don't try to make meditation the focus of the experience but often on the plateau I will find some time to meditate, besides DMT which pretty much requires meditation for the whole experience due to duration.

Of all the substances mentioned above, I would think shrooms would be thee most difficult to meditate on in the 'traditional' way, that is, to clear one's mind. To use Orison's analogy, the "highway" of my mushroom trips are pandemonium, a bumper car arcade of anarchy. Where as a good lsd trip is more like a 16 lane wide superhighway of smooth flowing traffic, sometimes at speeds that are hard to keep up with.

This is about the way I approach it. I never get to a clear mind space, rather, I try to stay focused precisely on 'the moment'. For me, that is not hard within a good lsd experience, and completely impossible on shrooms.

Mckenna thinks meditation techniques were tools developed out of the paleothic era of psychedelic magick lol.

I dont agree with McKenna's (implicit) assertion that chemically-unaided spiritual practices are impotent.

I tend more to the Ram Dass viewpoint that these are all spiritual technologies that propel us toward the same place: dissolution of the ego-entity and realization of our unitive identity.

It very well may be that man glimpsed this reality first through eating a powerful entheogen, but I believe history is full of beings who have gotten there with willpower and sadhana alone.
