It's coming to be on blotters from a trusted source. Some combo blotters with 1.5mg each of 25c and 25i, and some 25c blotters with 2mg each. I'll probably eat a 25c blotter to start out with.

Bumpin for the good life. :sunny:

Working in the garden, doing chores and favors for friends and then (lately) a nightly round of beers, musics and cannabis. Mostly in the form of hash. :ssmokeit:

Is pharma in a different category that they can't?

"Natural biological substances themselves can be patented (apart from any associated process or usage) in the United States if they are sufficiently "isolated" from their naturally occurring states."

so yeah, it seems pretty vague, but from the wiki article, i think they could patent isolated THC, or a cannabis strain that they altered the DNA of, not through just breeding and crossing.

"The 1970s marked the first time when scientists patented methods on their biotechnological inventions with recombinant DNA. It wasn’t until 1980 that patents for whole-scale living organisms were permitted. In 1980, the U.S. Supreme Court, in Diamond v. Chakrabarty, upheld the first patent on a newly created living organism, a bacterium for digesting crude oil in oil spills. The patent examiner for the United States Patent and Trademark Office had rejected the patent of a living organism, but Chakrabarty appealed. As a rule, raw natural material is generally rejected for patent approval by the USPTO. The Court ruled that as long as the organism is truly "man-made," such as through genetic engineering, then it is patentable. Because the DNA of Chakrabarty's organism was modified, it was patentable.
    "

what kind of hash are you smoking on? i think the hash i tried was liquidy-BHO stuff (not the best), but one bowl hit was like taking 5 bong rips of weed. i hear that earwax and "bubble hash" i think are where it's at.

bump for going to the glass museum. they had some trippy paperweights, i'll post some pics maybe. i am really getting the urge to trip. maybe two weeks on a camping trip, that has been tentatively planned. but the weather might suck...might not end up happening. i have a feeling that i'll be tripping regardless though.
    maybe revisit DMT soon too

I have not read the patents, but have read that the US government has some of the naturally occurring chemicals in pot patented for use preventing or treating cancer.

Could be a myth. Read it reasonably trusted places, I believe.

Well, growing good pot is an important thing, and is even more of a thing because you can't just grow more, for legal reasons.

A potentially revolutionary clinical trial using magic mushrooms to treat depression is being held up by ‘absurd’ British and European laws which restrict the use of illegal drugs in research.

It's stories like that which make what Rick Strassman was able to accomplish with his DMT studies all the more impressive.

True, yet here we are, understanding that these substances have healing qualities, that little by little this miracle is being documented. Beginning to understand how to go about the healing.

    Healing isn't a word I use lightly.

Maybe it's up to us to spread the word and use these sparkling jewels of knowledge and understanding.

I'm on my way TM :) gave a presentation about the effects of ketamine on treating alcoholism to a group of my post-secondary peers and one professor. The reaction was excellent. The data was unarguable. My presentation was passionate, I feel this is my calling. I plan to become very involved in this movement as opportunities allow. Small steps first; joined MAPS newsletter :D

It was in the context of ketamine psychotherapy rather than ketamine abuse. In that context, there is no addiction, unlike with even moderate opiate use for analgesia.

Lifelong alcoholics are cured from 1-2 ketamine administrations coupled with intense psychotherapy. Similar results to when they were given "megadoses" of LSD in the 60s (single doses) and also recorded high abstinence rates. I reviewed a recent study which managed to achieve a 70% one-year abstinence rate among alcoholics compared to 24% in the control group given only therapy.

Isn't it in the context of addiction?

Surely the dangers of using Ketamine outside the confines of psychotherapy and the chance of substituting one addiction with another should be recognized.

For those of you who've tried 25i and 25c, how quickly does the tolerance build? I've heard conflicting reports, one of which said you can take NBOMe's for 2-3 days straight with no significant tolerance increase. Is this true?

I've had friends take it multiple days in a row without increasing the dose much if at all and still get effects. I can't say from personal experience though.
