Second, there are knowledgeable people who have good things to say about daily microdosing, in the neighborhood of 20 ug LSD. I tried 1-2 mg 4AcO-DMT 4xweek for about a month. It gave a higher sense to life, but circumstances changed and I stopped. Obviously these are lower doses than 1 gm mushies daily.

I know its just a youtube video and I'm not saying its necessaily sufficient evidence, but I don't really think that eating one tiny mushroom once a day for a few days can be very harmful. I'll look for some more studies on this, but I think the idea waas hat intermittent very low dose psylocybin would increase neurogenesis, while a high dose would not.

RE: the pot poll. In some polls a majority was already reached a while ago. It is good news, but I see one of two things happening...

Either this news is taken by the gov't/anti-pot special interests as a lack of sufficient brainwashing and we are gonna see a media blitz, esp focused on "marijuana tragedies" from the new recreational states of WA and CO, until public opinion is turned around again,
OR
(more likely scenario) pot is legalized in the worst way possible: within the purview of pharmaceutical and agribusiness industries. Weed is a weed that grows easily most anywhere in nature in temperate climates, and if weed is considered safe for adult recreational use, there is no logical boundary or reason why personal growing would be any more dangerous. Yet growing weed is still illegal in WA. If we follow models where the use of the substance is legalized but the right to produce the substance is limited to a few, the burgeoning marijuana industry could be given away to legally-operating huge business interests (pharmas holding patents on the medicinal properties/compounds/strains and large agribusiness interests holding all the rights to growing the plant).

Of course, as a user, I would love not to be acting illegally every time I toked up. I am lucky to live in a state with significant decriminalization so my fear of getting caught is minimal, but still on principle I think it should not be an illegal activity. Nevertheless, I can't say I much prefer a prospective future where I am tied up with powerful legal crooks profiteering so much and being aided by the way the legalization occurs, to dealing with the street-level crooks and consortiums of small growers who I now associate with, though they operate under the radar.

 

as of now, i think big pharma cannot patent a living organism, or a whole plant. that's why they did their thing with marinol and maybe other synthetic THC derivatives.

but wouldn't it be great if they could make cannabis a prescription drug and over-prescribe it as much as all the pills they pump out?!

you can brew your own beer in the states. but not legally make your own booze.
so it's not totally unexpected that they'd say we can't grow weed. i think it's legal to grow your own tobacco? but i don't know a single person that does. i would hope weed wouldn't turn into something like cigarettes.

 

It gives you a surreal couple days and supposedly increases your rate of neurogenesis.

Anyway, this is day 5 microdose mushrooms. I'll tell you how I feel when I'm done. So far its made my week very enjoyable.

I grow my own tobacco. Its technically illegal, but not really very regulated.
The tobacco plant has pretty flowers and grows very very nicely with little or no care. With tobacco, you just plant it in the spring and then show up to cut the leaves a few months later and you can totally forget about it in between. Then I cured it and dried it and smoked it in a pipe and made about a carton of cigarettes with a machine.

homegrown tobacco is awesome. I was given a few plants for a free,. legally by a friend who runs a small organic farm for supplying expensive restaraunts -- its legal to grow small amounts of tobacco as an organic pesticide. i put pretty much no work ior money into growing it but I got enough tobacco to smoke for like 3 or 4 months of heavy smoking. Its actually a great deal -- and much, much easier than growing mj.

 

the laws in canada are likely different from those in the states.

that's pretty cool that you grow your own (even though tobacco is gross). you are the only person i "know" that does.

 

Im on Bloombergs side.. Im sick of seeing tobacco advertized.. and having it available in every fucking store, its a little pathetic. Here inthe rocs. rite aid, family dollar, beer pop for less, gas station, tobacco tobacco tobacco .. its fucking sickening..

Finally gonna have the opportunity to try 25C-NBOMe and 25I-NBOMe. It'll be my first time tripping in more than a year and a half.

That's what I keep hearing. They both sound like very interesting chems.

 

ive not tripped in a while, but when I did.. probably went thru 500mg of each over the past summer and fall.. only one problem with it when it got real cold out all the sudden in the middle my trip. I had to abort..

 

Yeah, that's another reason I'm so happy the weather is getting warmer now, because I definitely have to include one or two nighttime trips when dosing my samples, and I usually spend a large portion of my trips outside.

Would you say you prefer 25i or 25c? Or a combination of the two?

 

they vary because their is a swing with all the nombes. they mimic eachother, but have their own unique feeling alone. combined they are decent too..
best trips I had with them combined with tryps..

stay low : do you have powders? accurate way of measuring? i didnt have much a scale or accurate one. and I was ok .
