Pshh.... As always, don't try to manage the trip, or tell the chemical what to do.

School's a great thing (for me, at least, and I think from what you've said, for you), it shouldn't be a problem. In fact, it's a reasonably psychedelic thing on it's own, a lot of the time. It's a good combo with psychedelic drugs, there's a reason that "students" are the acid-taking question-asking troublemakers.

Less MXE and moar real psychedelics:sunny:

Those after effects from that RC blotter are finally leaving. Thank God. I was getting a little freaked out.

    APAP is acetaminophen, tylenol.

I don't like it any. The reason they use it, I think, is because it does SOMETHING, and it limits abuse, but not in a hard way. You can take a few grams of it and be fine, but if they used aspirin or ibuprofen or something, any abuse could cause serious damage. But still, it keeps you from taking really serious amounts of the opiates without CWE.

I like aspirin, it has some theraputic effects beyond just reducing pain/swelling, and it seems to be less toxic/damaging in the long run, when compared to the other NSAID's.

It's also cheap as balls. About $0.01 per 325mg pill if you buy the cheapest generic brand stuff without the coatings or anything like that.

Well, glad you're doing better, at least.

Did you buy a new computer, then?

I don't know if you know much about computers (not to imply that I do, in any way that matters) but if you have one with a return policy, I can try to help you troubleshoot the old one, you might be able to fix it for a fraction of the price of the new one.

If you'd rather not have upgraded, at least.

    That's what I was thinking.

But then I realized he means a laptop.

Cause I was about to go and rant about how a keyboard is the part of the computer that you interact with most, and he should go drop a hundred on a good mechanical one.

You will get used to it, maybe, but the closest a rubber dome keyboard gets to breaking in, is when it wears out. Or any keyboard, really.

Still, it's probably a power or harddrive problem.

Hadn't seen this doc on lsd. Some interesting clips with people intimately involved with the scene.

"If you add some butter to that, well it's like you're swimming in a pool of margarine."

    Lol.

Just finished watching the whole thing. It was really good. I really liked the dean at the church. He seemed to have a very reasonable attitude towards psychedelics.

Wasn't sure where to ask about this, but this thread seems as good as anywhere else, I suppose.

I'm planning on going back to school later in the year to study social work, with the goal of working in the addictions field... not sure exactly what I'd like to do yet, but something to do with addictions and/or mental health. I have a lot of free time on my hands until September when my program starts, so I'm looking for books and resources to read in order to prepare myself and give myself a bit of a head start. So, I come here looking for recommendations as I know many of you have already done a lot of research on drugs and addiction.

TL;DR - Please recommend books/studies/resources re: addiction and the treatment of addiction.

    Thanks in advance.

Bump for first time Ket on Saturday.

Started off with ~40mg, bumped another 20-40mg every 30-40 minutes or so. Really don't know what to say about it! Had fun, but what a strange chem. Curious to try it again, but with higher doses next time.
