So last night, first night I've had off from work in weeks I dipped into a new batch of 25i/c tabs I recently acquired. My previous experiences were completely underwhelming. Don't know if it was the bio-availability problem or what. Def didn't have that problem this time. 2 tabs between the cheek and gum and within an hour it was felt. A really jittery, ampy and anxious come up that lasted till about the +2 hour mark then it settled down into something useful. Kinda hard to describe the space, certainly psychedelic but not as "acidy" as I've heard described, more pea-ish, at least to me but without the nausea. Def good music enhancement like 2C-e, I did some serious listening at good volumes on the 7.1 system, bass coming up from the floor like an earthquake

I spent some time contemplating a new job offer. After 20+ years at my current one, it's imploding big time and I've had my resume out there for months. Something intriguing has come along and after doing some serious thinking about it last night I think I'm going to go for it and throw myself hard into it. It's a chance to have a job that I can again take pride in and go home with satisfaction, not just a paycheck. It's been a long time since I've had that and the risk of the operation failing and the drawbacks (mostly just that it would be hard work) really don't stand up to the likely benefit of having a job that I look forward to.
So if anything, I'd say that the nbome trip was ok for analytical thinking. But no where near the magic of lucy to take the mind and its conceptualizations to new places. Nbome made me more grateful to have a little stash of quality L for special occasions.

Gonna get my hands on another 8th of mushies tomorrow. This will give me a 1/4 of mushies and 200mg of the mescaline sulfate in my possession...

Indeed. The 3C-Xs have more in common with Mescaline than the 2C-Xs, despite the naming convention. Think the TMA series and you're on the right lines.

3C-E is the amphetamine version of Escaline, and 3C-P is the amphetamine version of Proscaline. So the 3Cs are more like the DOx analogues of the xscalines, only unlike the DOx series they keep the 3-carbon. I personally think 3C-PO would be a better name (nickname: C3-PO ), since P generally denotes a propyl group but in this case it's a propyloxy group.

The dose range is around 30-60mg for both, and I believe 3C-E is slightly more potent by weight than 3C-P.

I've already tried 3C-P at 40mg and found it a wonderful warm chemical, with an empathogenic peak somewhat similar to 2C-B and then a sort of psychedelic visual warm calm version of amphetamine that lasted the rest of the duration. Might not be all that interesting to those of you that don't really like stimulating psychedelics, but one thing I noticed is it felt bloody smooth, it didn't have the rough jittery bodyload that most phenethylamines have.

It also came in waves, and the visuals and overall feel were very akin to descriptions I've read of Mescaline, but more drawn out (oddly enough the peak is only 3-4 hours at most, but I still had some visuals around 17 hours after I dosed when I fell asleep) and at that dose it wasn't overly strong either.

I've heard 3C-E is the better of the two so I'm really excited to try it, a very respected psychonaut in the Polish online drug community tried it out and said it was very similar to classics like LSD and Mescaline and just as worthwhile as both

I think TMA itself is 3C-M, the amphetamine equivalent of Mescaline, just for reference. (I actually made a whole little segment of my post to wanting to try 3C-M when I realised that, doh!)

 

So apparently the bath salts trail gets weirder..

According to this article John McAfee, the guy who started McAfee antivirus, is now on the run for murder. Apparently over the past few months he had been getting into bath salts, especially MDPV and posting about it on for example Bluelight. I wonder if there was any correlation between his MDPV use and murder.

It wouldn't surprise me, I thought it was all media sensationalist reporting (most of it is admittedly) but then I had my little summer of 'PV this year and realised just how fucked up it can get by the evening of day 3 when you decide to have one last bump and suddenly think your friends are plotting to kill you and you need to defend yourself at all costs, using force if necessary.

Thankfully my psychosis almost always included seeing giant dog sized spiders so I knew what was up and never acted based on my hallucinations. I came close to doing some really fucked up shit though, and I certainly don't plan on pushing MDPV past 3-4 doses again in future. (But it's MDPV, so, it'll probably happen anyway)

I'm so glad MDPV, pentedrone, synthetic cannabinoids, etc. never appealed to me. Surprisingly. Cause I like just about every drug I've ever tried. It's scary to imagine if I were to fuck up my life on something like that. Luckily I just have to fight my temptations for one drug.

 

Damn CannbisSoul that is a crazy story even beyond the bath salts but I think 'perv powder' is an apt description for MDPV. When I binged on it, I pretty much spent a couple days painting my room... :mickey:

Couldn't agree more with this sentiment. I have had to make my OWN informed categorization about what are "good drugs" and what are "bad drugs." Obviously the government's classification is bunk--but I know that I have an obsessive/addictive personality type and the wrong drug could be very bad for me. So even though I am no longer in the "drugs are bad" camp, I still have my own boundaries that I try not to cross. In general, I like drugs with a wealth of info available on them...too new is scary to me. Although I do respect and appreciate people who try new drugs so that the rest of us can learn something about them
