well i cant really use my left hand for now. i get a different cast on the 25th when they remove the stitches and a "pin." by then i should be able to use it a little bit, but this is really gonna slow me down in lab.

i'm not much for opiates. i've only taken three today and i feel like i'm "doing drugs" (i took one at as time - it says i can take 1-2 every 4 hours).


the surgery was b/c i tore a ligament by slipping off my bike on ice.
i rode my bike 2 days of 10 after that happened, once on v-day, the night before surgery, and i fucking got hit by that car! i'm lucky i didn't get seriously hurt from that - i'm actually pretty surprised i didn't.

5th year i've been winter bicycling...i guess it caught up to me

 

Good to hear bud... at least you have single hand experience.... . careful with those percs tho. But you know that .

IME, dose response isn't connected to body weight as much as time between trips. Don't be nervous, you'll have a blast if you give consideration.

YouTube designs the movie previews? I find that hard to believe. It's a trailer produced by the studio. The content in it is purchased by the studio from the rights-holder. I assume if the song is in the trailer there is a plausible chance it is in the movie too?

Studios don't outsource their media creation to YouTube and definitely not their legal work.

 

Wish we would quit big leaguing each other. She didn't say it was "a fucking lot of acid" she said she was "fucking excited." That can be a true statement about her no matter the size of the dose.

Then, that's up to a label, and the artist's degree of control depends on the contract and the size of the label, and if it's indie and everybody's friends or what.

 

I don't think that's what I was doing..... I've never taken very much acid. At three hits, it's felt like it would really be somewhere serious with about five. Of course things can be hard, and can be wonderful, with a few. But I've never felt that I've had as much as I'd like.

And given that she's got half of my "wish I had more" dose, assuming they're generic hits, I'm not sure about being "bad fucking ass", unless there's a really remarkable setting planned, where a museum dose is preferable.

 

1.5 hits of "generic" LSD still qualifies as bad ass to me. whoooops, i didn't say "fucking." guess u were right, roor

Also, our setting is in the woods, with blankets and pillows,tons fruit and art supplies.

 

But what is the point of saying it? Who is helped by your pointing that out?

 

That sounds like an excellent venue And for sure, good, positive and fruitful trips don't depend on quantity. Once it's enough to actually lift off, the rest is up to you.

I didn't put her down, I simply made a statement about my opinion on dosage. Which is a VERY important aspect of the topic of this thread

I think it's highly germane, she said something about a dose and I said something about a dose. Following that, if she cares, she may try to acquire more, or she might know something about the potency of her doses, or have a more difficult setting in mind. I did not write many words about it, but neither did she.

In fact, I'm pretty sure that I said that her having 1.5 hits is JUST bad-ass, but not quite bad-FUCKING-ass.

It's just a conversation. I don't think I attacked her. And if I did, you are surely attacking me.

I guess I am hyper-sensitive to scenarios of one-upsmanship, and I wish that there was more encouragement sometimes. We are all trying something that is difficult and scary, even though it is good and necessary. There is a lot of good encouragement on this thread, but there could be more. We should be helping each other with as much positivity as we can, imo.

I am not lecturing you personally, RooR, I think you are really smart about this stuff and I respect your opinion on a lot of stuff. And I think you are very reasonable. I certainly should not have become argumentative myself, it was silly. Anyway.
