    Thx bud.

I dig what Raga and Eggs are talking about... sometimes it's helpful just to know there are kindred souls out there that feel the same about all this bs and injustice swirling around us everyday.
Often I feel like the best I can do is just tread lightly, go about my life and leave it all alone. I can say with near certainty that I am glad I didn't know then, what I know now. It's easier now to just say 'fuck it' and live out my last few years of life and do the best I can to not make it worse here for others.

I often think of the Matrix symbolism, and, given the choice, would I want to be unplugged and real, or stay in a state of ignorance but relative happiness?

Do the best you can guys and if all you can do is be good humans, you're doing more than a lot of people can manage to pull off.

    This is bonkers!!!

Just been speaking with him... there was a point that broke me out of the dream. I felt really strongly that I needed to pee... it woke me up and I went to pee - but I didn’t have to. It was really annoying and I didn’t get back to the shared consciousness when I went back to sleep. Just spoke to him... told him about this... he had to pee and it broke him out of the dream. I’m 600 miles away from him and his need to pee woke me out of a shared dream state!

tastyweat, that dream stuff does sound crazy.

a separate question - how do you feel after such a high dose? "normal?" functioning well in your everyday (academic) life?

i'm a newb when it comes to doses that high.

12 hours after peaking on ~15 hits of strong acid I was doing a busy retail store shift and completely fine. After no sleep either. I can confirm the state of hyper-lucidity (heehee) and functioning.

thanks tasty, i have a new desktop background :sifone:

Fine to be honest, I've actually been funtioning in a slightly heightened state... Bit faster than normal, improved multitasking capabilities and easier memory recall... I think that's starting to fade now.

Yesterday, after that dream - because of the possibilities that were running through my head, I did find it hard to focus... But it was the same kind of distraction as if you had just found anything awesome so not directly related to the high state.

Although... At a couple of points when I had to focus... Conference calls etc... I had no issues at all... In fact, I was dealing with that, reading three different articles and holding two text based conversations simultaneously... It felt like I was capable of a bit more, I just didn't push it.

Last night wasn't quite so much fun... It's like the state tried to resume... But later on in the day I had been hearing about the bad sides of larger trips and how it can diametrically oppose the good bits... It brought back some nightmares from childhood which I've been free of for a while.

I dealt with them without much of an issue... I just got bugger all sleep.

It won't affect me like that again tonight, I don't think... It was just because I had been focusing on all the bad possibilities about what could exist.

Experiencing telepathy has opened up my mind to many more possibilities. I never particularly liked the idea of the holographic universe... But now, that theory seems to make the most sense... Reality being a semi-mouldable projection of consciousness. It's a good explanation for the observer effect, which is a very prominent part of quantum physics.

I'm very curious about what else exists.

Virtual particles could be a manifestation of the "Don't think of a pink monkey!" phenomenon (you thought of a pink monkey, didn't you! therefore manifesting it for a second)

Which one? The Alex Grey image?

He's spent a lot of time in these voids, his artwork is exceptional

The exit to the universe cd-changer, perhaps? A route to the higher plane?

Exactly... the observer effect allows for so much!

Alex Grey has worked on some CGI Videos for the band Tool which they played on the screens when I saw them live for a few songs, very amazing stuff. Been into his artwork for awhile tho, in fact my first rave I went to was a post release party for a video he was releasing or something.

I've really been giving this stuff thought lately.
I was no where as 'aware', globally speaking, as you in high school. I was too busy partying and chasing girls.
But over time I've been bashed over the head repeatedly to the point that I sometimes can't stand it. The sad this is, I'm so fucking fortunate, incredibly so, and sometimes feel like the only thing I can do to "make it" is like you said, try to have a small footprint and be good to those around me.
Cause fact is, I'm pretty done as far as being able to do jack about anything.
Corporate abuse, entire communities being wiped out every day, unbounded greed to a degree even the darkest of Dickens tales couldn't imagine.

And the sad thing is it's not a conspiracy... it's just humans being humans. Taking. Fuck you give me mine. And sadder still, so many are brainwashed into believing this is how things work. They give their money to Bank of America and Walmart and can't figure out why things don't add up. It's so bad that a genuine populist movement like the tea party gets co opted by multinational corporate agendas, in a matter of months right under their nose. The unofficial PAC for Murdoch and the elite. It's fucking sickening.

So much for peace and love in my heart after a few days in paradise with a truly wonderful friend. Regular life just steamrollers everything sometimes.
I love the field I'm in and loathe the business. At no point is it anything about being of service to people anymore, it's just a giant monopoly game for ivy league pukes.
Thanks for those words TM. Ideas I need to meditate on. You're truly a wonderful person.

There is a camp there called Fractal Nation, of which Alex and Alison have a very large part in. Beautiful people. I got to hug Alex and thank him for sharing his work.
They are in New York and are very accessible and welcoming, so you know.
