Thanks for the thoughts guys. As for what exactly will result in his death, from what I understand his brain is hemmorhaging (sp?).

It was such a weird day yesterday. I went snowshoeing with my buddy and our dogs, then some guys were over at my house jamming, then we all smoked a joint and we were talking about how much of a good day it had been so far (which I never do), and then the call came. It was a really weird contrast.

Dis you see any big differences between what you were amoking and the real stuff?

Everytime I hear about a drug death I tend to wonder if it was an HF member...

Honestly, it's not near as good as cannabis. It comes on fast >15 secs, lasts shorter. And it's not nearly as mellow, I get blasted off into some dissociative like hyperspace, where it's vaguely psychedelic in the way that the mind sees all of these radical connections. But all I can do is lay there and try to keep up with the ride, it's almost fun-house-y. I think this is jhw 073, I had some 200 a while back and it was similar, just slightly different. Gave most of it to a friend.
But the ganj, I always loved everything about it. Growing it, the smell, preparing it, the taste, the headspace. I'm a major weed head which is another reason I avoid it.

Things we think are real, aren't necessarily real.

I'm sorry to hear about your grandfather Shivaya. Hopefully those were 50 mostly good years.

For those of you who are struggling with life's difficulties, you're in my thoughts.

I'm seeing Tame Impala in Louisville!! I might make it my first psychedelic concert with some 2C-B.

also; I found out my neuroscience professor has worked with DOI in rats before, and with undergraduate assistants. That's so spiffy! I don't think she is a Shulgin fan, though.

Shiv...peace and love to you. You are screen-named after the god of transformation and destruction...doubtless you see the eternal process at work even in these sad events.

As for me I think it is time for a trip. I am going to finish up a couple commitments in the next few weeks and then try for a day when I can go whole-hog. I want to do a little less than 1/8th of mushrooms and ~200mg of mescaline. I know I have been talking about that trip for a while; the opportunity hasn't arisen yet, but this window next month looks promising. I will keep everyone apprised.

Nice vibes to put out there :sunny:
Good choice for a first time. 2C-b is gentle on me with crowds settings that can easily become overwhelming on stronger psyches. Have fun!

Interested to hear how that pans out... quite a mix of trypts and pea. I bet it's amazing, going into that I would be thinking I'd better put thought into setting.

    I'm sorry to hear that.

I enjoy a bit of alcohol now and again, but I really hate how most people who use it do so. Ruins lives, and not just their own. Over all, it's a very sad drug.

As for the synths.... eww. I used them a few times when they first became popular, it's a one-dimensional high, and leaves you feeling stupid for days or weeks... maybe you never recover, and just stop noticing. Like how when you start smoking weed you stay high on life, and chill.... only with stupidity, instead of chillness. Wish I'd never touched the shit, it frys people. And I can't adequately express my loathing for people in the media and law enforcement who started calling them "synthetic marijuana".

I'm thinking 17mg as I know I will be comfortable and still enjoy the experience. I still need to try ~21mg on my own, I fucking love 2C-B.

I don't think I've EVER heard that opinion of hamilton :p

I tend to think of him as a douchebag with potential.

    I'll have to watch.

So these guys are sitting underneath two hunting trophies talking about psychedelics, as if setting is an occasional consideration.

    Euphoria!

Again, thanks for your words friends.

Bleah, going to stick with the real thing. I think I should also try to moderate, however.

I love Tame Impala, they (he) are (is) awesome. did you find out what it was your neuroscience professor was testing?

Thanks. It's funny how in these moments we tend to forget those things, but you are right. It is sad, but it is the nature of the universe we are part of. He's still very much around, just in a different way.

Alcohol is a terrible drug - probably one of the worse and most destructive. Yet most of us know this and still drink much more than we should. You are right - it is sad.

I kinda like him. I think he's pretty brave when it boils down to it. Did you see the episode where he goes to Haiti and tries the zombie powder? Turns out it didn't work, but even at that, I would have never had the balls to take the chance..

Lol I don't plan too but Intravenously administered scopolamine has been found to be effective against major depressive disorder. A phase II clinical trial of its efficacy against both major depressive disorder and depression due to bipolar disorder when administered via transdermal patches is scheduled to finish in September 2013.
