I haven't use Kratom in ages. I miss it's wonderful calming qualities. What is your favorite type, dose, and method of digestion? I have a pretty good method and fave kind but I like to hear others opinions.

 

I haven't dabbled in it enough yet but the Golden Indo Micron powder seems to work well with some extract mixed in. I will buy a sampler pack next time and see which one works best for me. As for method I use size 000 caps, I have no idea how much I am supposed to dose so currently I am doing 10-12 grams. i really should do more reading on kratom.

What is your favorite method of ingestion?

 

This happens to me often at certain points. I usually dont hear or see anything, but my eyes are open, I can see the room, but I cant move. Its an alarming moment for sure. Try not to sleep on your back.

 

bump for 2 grams of piracetam

Surprised I didn't feel a significant difference from lower doses but it's still giving me a slight mood lift and good clarity of mind.

 

Bump for ketamine and fireworks!! I laid in the snow about 20 feet from the launch zone, I was one with the fireworks! After I gained mobility I shot my green and red tracer rounds into a big plowed snow pile. What a great week, I put 400 miles on the snow machine too.

yeah weird, cause I usually sleep on my sides but this time I woke up on my back. it has happened to me in the past before but never had i hallucinated like that.

nice. I'd like to try piracetam but after feeling basically zero effects from aniracetam, I am hesitant to try another.
I would kind of like to order thru amazon but they took down almost all racetams.

 

We were there for about a week and a 1/2, 400 miles is easy to do in the area we were in.

 

I find that I like a blend of the Sumatra Red and Green Malaysian the best. The Red Jungle Thai is pretty good too. I scoop 4-6 teaspoons into yogurt making sure to keep the consistency thick yet creamy and not too dry and just scarf it down. Peach flavored yogurt seems to mask the bitterness well and it goes down quite easily.

Actually, I made tea a couple times with Borneo Red Vein chopped leaves and it worked quite well. I couldn't find an efficient way to mask the bitterness but I didn't have many resources to experiment with either. I believe a little honey and stevia would had worked great. It was quite a messy process due to the fact that I didnt have one of those metal ball herbal infusers or any other means to hold the leaf so I made acoffee filter into a makeshift teabag. Needless to say it didn't work so well and I ended up with a lot of leaf in my tea and had to use my teeth as a filter. One of those fine meshed bar strainers would have come in handy.

So, just for the sheer convenience I stuck to yogurt.

That sounds awesome. I can imagine how awesome fireworks and Ket are. The massive high quality lazors at the Owsla party (Skrillex and crew) after Voodoo fest blew my mind. I felt like I could feel them. It's hard to explain really. That K was the best I ever had. My quote of the night was 'friends don't let friends dance on K' lol I looked like a complete dumbass and so did half the people there because the K was really flowing that night. Never seen so many people dancing completely off beat in my life. I took a lil comfort on the fact that I wasn't the only one making a fool of myself lol! Anyway, I can't wait to get some more. I have a huge box full of leftover fireworks so I may plan a lil firework ketamine fun soon. Thanks for the inspiration.

I found my bottle finally which is running low and as soon as my order shows up I plan on starting a daily regimen. I have only used it in combinations with molly and 2c(x) which produced a nice effect. I didn't notice a difference with LSD though. My mind seems quite off due to my prescribed klonopin which causes some temporary cognitive issues which can be encumbering. I am hoping the piracetam will counteract or improve some of these effects seeing as I cannot stop my medication.

I am begining to despise most pharmaceuticals. Too often in order to treat what ails you you must deal with terrible side effects and decipher if the good out weighs the bad.

 

I've talked with someone else about piracetam and read online somewhere that some people don't seem to get immeadiate effects from piracetam as well. I've read some reports from Erowid and talked with others to know that many do get immeadiate effects including myself but it is interesting to me why some seem to experience psychoactive effects with these racetams while others experience none.

It's certainly a subtle psychoactive but fairly unmistakable in my experience as well.

I don't have a strict regimen for which I use piracetam, I often dose it a few days consecutively and then won't use it for a couple weeks. I'm not sure if this is the most effective way to dose it but I also feel it's good that I don't get in the habit of using it as a crutch everytime I have a hint of anxiety or feeling down, even if it is fairly benign. I have only combined Piracetam with alcohol so far and that is a terrible combination, definitely messed me up more but it was a strange borderline uncomfortable intoxication.

Can you elaborate a bit more on how piracetam effects the MDMA experience? And what were the particular dosing times of each you found most efficient?

 

I find piracetam potentiates MDMA and LSD strongly.

I take the piracetam (600mg everytime) about an hour prior to dosing the MDMA. The doses of MDMA varied. I found that it potentiated the MDMA pretty well, plus it helped a bit with the blah feeling during the comedown. The effect isn't like crazy drastic or anything but it's worth it.

Good link, I find it interesting that mystical experiences with Psychedelics can be validated scientifically.

A lot of the results of the tasks didnt really surprise me, most seemed to suggest psychedelic activity for the participants at the expense of some impairment on performing their tasks. The study had a fairly strong limitations section and brought up a point that I think could be a drawback of psychedelic studies for a longtime to come and that is the necessity of selecting volunteers with prior psychedelic experience for these studies. Questions of ethics surely would arise on testing inexperienced psychedelic users and especially in this lawsuit happy culture it would be too much of a risk on the researchers.


One hypothesis that stuck out to me and seems totally counterintuitive is...

Most my psychedelic experiences seem to suggest otherwise and if anything almost the reverse as in too much sensory information leads to hallucinations. I realize other non drug induced conditions which lead to loss of visual ability can also lead to hallucinations, so I'd suggest that perhaps hallucination may occur at both lowered and increased sensory ability.

Any thoughts on 2c-t-2? A friend has some and I'm thinking about trying it out. I'm not really sure what to expect. I've read a lot of TR's that complain about serious body load.

 

I tried 2ct2 a few times but in significantly different ways. I found 20 mgs 2ct2 fairly uneventful although I enjoyed playing guitar on it, at 50 mgs and ~10 mgs insuffalated it was a pretty wicked trip in a good way. Here is a TR from me on it...

2ct2 is a fairly neutral feeling trip among the 2cx chems and it's not the visual fireworks of some of the other 2cx chems however it's got a pretty quality mindtrip and perhaps one of the deeper chems among the 2cx's. I'd recommend taking 30+ mgs at least if you can.
