i miss the 90's. NPR radio show featured music from India followed by the grateful dead hour. It sometimes was a ritual listening to both.

i really like grooveshark for music. i have 65 playlists there.
my laptop can't play youtube videos without lagging, so i hardly ever use youtube, or click the youtube links that get posted in here so often. i'm missing out :(

yeah, me too! i only read maybe half of his post before i went back, but i thought he was talking about his dog or something...

and BUMP, for a very psychedelic moment the other morning on my bike ride to work. i was sober.
i saw a flock of starlings (i think) take off from the roof of a 6 story building. the way that a group of birds flies in unison is so cool to me! i must have spent a lot of time watching birds while tripping, b/c when i just SEE birds like this, it kinda feels like i'm tripping!!
it really gives me a sense of euphoria, similar to a light trippy feeling and something like standing in nature and feeling the breeze on your face...it feels like i'm somehow involved in creating the breeze. with the birds, i feel somehow connected to that group motion, and focusing my attention just makes everything else STOP.
thank you, psychedelics for teaching me to remember to stop and smell the roses:daisy:
i've been having a bit of a stressful time at work (that's normal, but maybe i've just not been in the greatest of moods), but since that bird moment, i've been back to my cheery self.

sort of separate note: the other day i got WAY too high. i had a really bad headache, and i took a hit or two (kief on top) and it didn't help my headache. i was super blazed and couldn't unfocus on the pain in my head. started worrying what if it wasn't just a headache. had to confess to my wife "i'm freaking out. i need your help to calm down"

it made me think of a bad trip. if that were to happen on a psychedelic it would have been terrible. but i guess i've faced similar situations...
it just made me want to NOT be high, and really appreciate normal, sober life. but surprise, surprise, my weed habit still stands. and backward as it may sound (for "blaming" psychedelics instead of weed, which i'm not intending to do), i think i should really try to not trip for at least months, but more like 6 months or so.

^ I'd post a vid of one of those amazing huge flocks of starlings swirling across the sky together... but you couldn't watch it. :(

Ya, they are pretty awesome tho.

Pork, there's a lot of sub-clinical seasonal affect changes that happen in most people. I know I am more prone to the winter time blues, and having winter as my busy season for work doesn't help!

Flocks of birds can be very trippy. I always think of the scene in Training Day when the rookie smokes PCP for the first time

I won't be able to tell you why, but I'm generally happier during winter. I far prefer a cool rainy or snowy day to a warm bright day. It's been like that for as long as I can remember!

buuumpin for my first time with 2C-B (17mg) in a couple of hours. The plan is to come up in my room and let some of my favorite music help me transition to the new head-space. I'll probably look at some Monet prints I have hung up on the walls, play some more music, or think about my career decision and motivations and such. And there's always the Gemini meteor shower tonight! :)

I would say increase the dose a little bit more than that if you can. I think 17mg will probably be pretty underwhelming, though I hope you enjoy it. :)

Thanks. I'm going to keep with my dose as I see no real harm in being underwhelmed, and honestly that's what I'd prefer with this being my first time with the chemical, and my first real psychedelic experience in a while. :sunny:

Fair enough! Let us know how it goes.

Here is another fun little story about psychedelics:

So a tranny walks into a bar with a steering wheel in her skirt. Bartender says, “Hey, did you know you’ve got a steering wheel down your skirt?”..

The tranny replies “yeah, it’s driving me nuts”..:gorgeous::driving:..

Yup.. definitely not one trip I'd be alright with in the morning. At least not for a while. I'm happy they at least pointed out that he was drunk as well, though many people would probably still blame it on the LSD.

    haha

i don't think it's the seasonal thing...winter is alright with me. not preferred, but our winters are a joke the last couple years. well, i guess an extended winter could for sure wear on me.

i love training day, though i haven't watched it in awhile. good memory on the birds though, i have to go youtube that scene...

so, 2C-Bing right now, thoroughly enjoying the colorful landscapes of the pointillist painters :)

edit: and when I said that, I meant the synaesthetic landscapes of Stravinsky's Petrushka

    ^Good stuff Sinster

Failed Bump tonight, :( Was planning on exploring some HBWR seeds but had some responsibilities to attend to before work tonight and all the stores that carry Ginger Beer, which I am feeling necessary to have when I take that journey were closed when I got off work. Some stores have Ginger Ale but I researched that supposedly most of them are just flavored with ginger and don't carry anywhere near the amount of ginger in them. Might try and reschedule this trip for next week.

Bump for a bean tonight. Pretty strong roll but quite a lot of stomach discomfort.

I was reading something that said alot of people crave citrus fruit in the winter. It's your body telling you what you need...
