Your mother should see a doctor, if she's losing it that fast I think it could be something like a tumor or other bad thing pressing on the optical nerve.

I've heard that seeing all sorts of stuff is actually normal for people who had the ability to see, and then lose it. But a lot won't admit it.

 

or it could be corrected with Lasik, I know lots of peoples eyes corrected with that..

Only one side effected. Rapid onset and development. I agree with roor.

Thanks for the good wishes, She has gone to the doctor and is taking some medication.

From what I understand, they said it may be a pretty rare condition and she's gone through a series of tests at the hospital over the past couple weeks. As far as I know, so far they're giving her medications and have a ocular dialator or something to stabalize it and prevent it from deteriorating further.

I'm not sure what tests she has done this past week but the doctor discussed a possible neurological issue on one of her intial visits but I think they said that she would have to be transferred to a different hospital to perform those tests.

Interesting, I was unfamiliar with this syndrome. I spent some time trying to see what she may have based on her symptoms and didn't find much, one of the reasons I decided to post about it in this thread. Good info!

Wasn't trying to say that it applies to her, more a response to what RooR had posted. I don't like the term syndrome, makes it sound like a negative thing. My theory is that this is no different than similar scenarios where people loose something they once had. People that loose limbs can 'feel' them there for years. I had my front two teeth removed after they were broken from a bike accident and sometimes would feel them.
It's an amazing manifestation of the mind, methinks.

 

Bump for 750ug of 25i/c NBOMe. I thought this much would be just a little stimulation and interest added to my day, however it was enough for open eye visuals with melting and breathing. I wouldn't say it was full on kaleidoscopic and geometric type visuals like the higher doses have given me but definitely enough to be noticeable.

I wonder if the grapefruit I ate this morning had any effect on dosing. However I've noticed more and more that expectations when it comes to dose and psychedelics is really pretty much useless.

 

do you mean 750 ug of each, or 375 ug each?

what dose gives you kaleidoscopic and geometric visuals? one full hit or two?
1.5 mg of each gave me "breathing and melting" ...made the bird on my shower curtain look like it was gliding through the material.

 

375ug each, it was a combo blotter that I only took 1/4 of.

My comparison was to one full tab, or 1.5mg of each. I guess it isn't that much of a high dose compared to what some people do. I do find that the 25i/c combo seems to lend more to melting type visuals as opposed to the classic kaleidoscopes and fractals everywhere, but those 'classic' visuals were definitely more pronounced at higher doses.

Now taking two full hits would probably be pretty interesting. I wonder what increases faster though, the rate of mental effects or visual? Only one way to find out I suppose. :devil:

 

I finally ordered a racetam. Aniracetam. I seemed to find the best reviews for it and effects specific to what I am looking for.

 

Aniracetam is very nice, albeit short lived .
With the nbome compounds,in my experience, with increased dosage comes mainly increased visual effects, but there does seem to be some sort of tipping point, for me anyways, to having a profound experience

 

I cant believe Im tripping this much myself on the dose I snorted around 11pm. i only had a day 1/2 tolerance break.
