For those that didn't know (Went back a few pages and seen that Writer mentioned going so I guess ya do know ), Tool is going back on tour. Tickets are already on sale, most places are sold out but a few have some tickets remaining such as the show in GA. I'm hoping for a second leg and a show in New Orleans. I knew they were going back on tour but didn't know this soon and found out too late or else I would have bought tickets to the show in Grand Prairie, TX. Got my Puscifer tickets thought. So excited about that show. Prolly gonna skip seeing Excision and go to the Steve Aoki and Datsik show and maybe a Neon Glow paint party in February. 2012 is already a rockin year for concerts.

A couple friends and I have been throwing the idea around about making the Cannabis Cup next year. That would be the shit. It would be the first time I've ever left the country. We are thinking about getting the Judging passes or whatever they are called that let's you sample all the entries. I can't find where to look at ticket packages and the such, maybe it's too soon. Have any of you ever went to the Cannabis Cup or just Amsterdam period?

What is a good way to prevent vasoconstriction? Those black microdot's I have leave me with a tingly face, hands and feet. I assume it's from vasoconstriction. It's very annoying when you are exhausted after the trip and just want to sleep. That is pretty much the whole reason I only took them once and haven't since then. Spliff nor my other friend have the same problem, I dunno why it happens to me but I would like to take a couple for the Puscifer show.

I have read that caffeine, benzos, and cannabinoids (I don't mind smoking weed on LSD, I usually don't smoke a lot while tripping on it but I guess it's worth a shot.) help but was wondering if there is something else out there that really wouldn't mute or add effects to the experience.

I don't know if I mentioned this before but I tried some incense or potpourri, whatever it's called now, called Amsterdam Attic (It's a line of products, I think the one I tried was called Grind Time or Elm Street.) that has been the closest thing to real weed that I have tried yet. It gives the most intense Indica type high and lasts longer than any other legal herb I've tried. It's pretty trippy too and the beauty of it is that I only need one or two tokes so the bag of 3.5 grams (which costs about 40 bucks) would last a pretty long while. I've been trying to figure out what chemical(s) are in it. Someone mentioned that it sounded like AM-2201 and the little bit of info that I can find online corroborates with that theory.

If it is indeed AM-2201 the people making this stuff and distributing it to convenience stores have some balls considering it's legality unless of course it's made outside of the US then I guess it would fall on the owners of the stores. I don't know. If anyone is selling any sort of incense or potpourri like that gets caught by the cops, even if it is just herbs and nothing else, in the tri-parish area I live in the store gets shut down for a number of days and fined or goes to jail if the stuff contains any of the federally banned substances. They are strict as hell about that shit around here. In another parish outside the three I just mentioned, if you get caught with any illegal drug you go straight to jail instead of just getting a ticket and like before. It really sucks around here, I gotta get out of this state or better yet, this country, before they start shooting people on sight for having a joint on them or something just as ridiculous.

 

a good way to prevent vasoconstriction is to stop fucking around with synthetic cannabinoids they are notorious for that.

also, maybe just keep your LSD dose somewhat low. you said you took three of those red stars...did you get any tingling or any other side effects from that? when i take two, i get a bit of a back ache and real bad jaw tension, but i don't seem to on one. that's the main reason i'm nervous to take 3 or more...because i don't want increased side effects.

 

I have been to Amsterdam.. but you had better hurry and get there beforea ll the coffee shops stop selling to tourists.

I don't. I may have smoked a total of 20 different kinds of 'incense' in the past year and I didn't smoke it regularly. It was usually like a friend had some and I took a hit or two like I did with this new stuff of which has been the first time I've smoked any in about 8 months.

The first and only time I took the black micro dots I only took one so I can't really lower my dose with those. They are so small it would be impossible to split one in half lol.

I didn't get any vasoconstriction effects from the red stars at all. I did get some jaw tension with the stars but nothing worse than what I get with MDMA sometimes so it didn't really bother me. Dunno why the black microdots give me such vasoconstriction unless it's not true LSD or low quality LSD or something else of that effect. It's definitely not DO(x) though. I don't know how common those LSD analogs are.

Haven't heard about that happening. When is that suppose to occur? That is pretty stupid, selling to tourist is I am sure most of their revenue.

Yeah, it is a pretty stupid move, and I am pretty sure it will just cause tourism to diminish while those tourists who still visit Amsterdam will end up getting a local to buy for them or they will just turn to the black market instead. Doesn't fix a thing, but hey, I guess they'll realize sooner or later.

Drug use declined, rates of new HIV infections cause by sharing needles declined, and the money saved from enforcement allowed for increased funding of drug-free treatment.

Yes. I'm a fool for believeing someone i thought was slightly knowledgable as to what he was purchasing. plus it was coming from germany so I was inclined to believe him. whatever this was, it was only euphoric for like an hour. after that i was sedated and quiet and not euphoric. just stimulated. I'm done trusting the outside world. I'll just stick to paying overpriced fees and purchase from reliable vendors...

Do you smoke cigarettes? Nicotine causes vasoconstriction...

 

Dopamine is a reward neurotransmitter and I think they both primarily have a role in alertness and attention. Serotonin which is the neurotransmitter usually regarded as the cataylst for entactogens primarily effects mood, usually positively in the case of these drugs. So if this entactogenic drug felt 'dysphoric' it may be that it just has a much lower level of efficacy releasing serotonin and effecting these other neurotransmitters, therefore not as reinforncing as you're used to with MDMA or 4-MMC. When it comes to entactogens, I'll speculate it's more the interplay of the neurotransmitters rather than being able to say a specific neurotransmitter caused you dysphoria.

Also, Something like MDMA has some metabolites that effects one of the big receptor sites that alot of hallucinogens do. (LSD, 2ce, Mescaline) I'm not sure how some of these other compounds break down but I'd still say Set and setting is important with drugs like MDMA.


*It's not unheard of for some people to lose the 'magic' either, so eventhough you haven't done 4-MMC in over a year it has been reported some people get diminishing returns, which means they feel it less and less throughout a lifetime. The fact that you said you felt it for about an hour makes me skeptical about this being the case though.

This day and age its rare for some people who have had many ecstasy experiences to have any experience with MDMA/MDA due to the RC scene. unfortunately.... I have been fooled more times than I can count because I'm from a small town in the south... Growing up, I took peoples word for the substances I was taking (Dumb I know but I was young). As I got older and became more computer savy I realizd only one of the pills I've taken that I am 100% certain contained MDMA were the G ladies. I tried both G. and .G white ladies. I believe the difference in the two was the mdma/mda ratio. They were amazing. And after my problems with 4-mmc i have no doubt that i have lost some of the magic. But I know what MDMA feels like and what he sold me was definately not MDMA or even close. This person that sold me the "MDMA" that was "chemically assayed at 88% pure" is an idiot and i won't being doing anymore businesss with him.. Until then, I will stick to using Vidalia and the RC world or whats left of it....

The drug world is so fucked up right now I hope this ban will at least make mdma, lsd, dmt, and other amazing psychadelics more readily availble on the black market because there just isn't enough of it around right now...
