Psychedelic Bump XIX

I'm interested in hearing how 2C-B at a concert goes for ya Pork.
I took nearly that dose for a show and it ended up going less well.. but as you know I don't really like 2C-B!

 

well about 3 months ago, i took 26 mg at Built to Spill. it was an awesome concert, one of my favorite bands..but really not all that psychedelic. it was a bit of an enhancement, but not ultra noticeable. maybe 2cb is more of an empathogen or slight stimulant at lower doses (i was relaxed, dancing a bit, looser than normal), and psychedelic when i get to about 30 mg.

i had a great trip on 30 mg the time my wife took it with me, so with an awesome setting at home. 28.5 mg on a cruise ship produced almost nothing. i had some genuine sea-sickness that day.
36 mg has produced a great trip (my first real trip on 2cb), another time i took 36 mg and saw Contagion and went to petsmart and cried about the animals up for adoption...i've had another unremarkable trip at 36 mg for which i have no other notes about. 36 mg or higher also tends to give me a significant headache on the comedown, like with 2ce. at least 2cb doesn't tear up my stomach on the comedown like 2ce does.

i'm thinking that with ~33 mg maybe i can avoid most of the headache, and still have a solid trip. if i dose my friends i was thinking ~24 mg for the guy (he likes acid and molly and tripping it seems), and maybe 22.5 mg (previously weighed) for the girl (she likes rolling but seems nervous to trip since her last lsd trip was scary). they said they tried 2cb years ago at a festival, but have no idea what dose and barely recall the trip. i might need to give her less. my wife tripped pretty hard from 20 mg.


CS, what concert was it? what went not so well? i'm just curious..i don't think it will 'taint' my experience. i've seen this same band at the same venue a couple years ago on 2ce (17 mg..a decent dose for porkstock).

I like both of those bands as we've discussed before. Crazy to imagine taking a psychedelic at that kind of show. I would debate doing it for my most favorite band when they come into town at the end of september but even then, I can't imagine what it would be like.

 

Huh, interesting that you have had so many variable experiences with 2C-B. That is pretty much how it has been for me as well.. I've had some very good experiences and other very meh experiences.

I went to see Micheal Franti and Spearhead on 35mg of 2C-B with my brother and a friend who I dosed. We dosed about an hour before the show thinking it would kick in in about an hour or two, I believe there was an opener too. Anyway, neither my friend or I got any tripping effects during the show. Zip, null.

The whole time we were trying to smoke this weed too, and security was being really strict. At one point I hit my dugout and let out the smoke just as the lights turned white, so security could see the smoke and walked over right beside me, luckily without seeing the hitter.

So as we leave, about 4 or 5 hours after dosing we decide to smoke one of the many joints we had pre-rolled. Right after we finished the joint the -b kicked in HARD! It was like it was trying to make up for not kicking in earlier. Everything turned into a wish-wash of cartoons. For me the only negative side effect was that I couldn't sleep all night because I was way too stimulated, but my friend had one of his less enjoyable trips when everything turned all pastel like and stimulating. It was mainly the fact that neither of us could sleep after thinking nothing would come out of it that sucked though.

Sorry for that wall of text, I'm sure you and your friends will enjoy it. Just be careful mixing that cannabis with it

 

I haven't had a proper psychedelic trips since may. with abstaining from mxe (which usually hindered me from wanting to trip) and listening to a lot of terence mckenna I may want to take a common dose of something.

Is 5-MeO-MiPT particularly enlightening? I've only tried it once before at 5mg and it was nice. I may want to go with something more familiar and have a nice enjoyable 16mg 2c-e or 20mg 2c-i trip. Don't want to go for the miprocin yet. It's a shame I've only tried it once.

 

That sounds like a lovely night out. And with a few other friends, should be a blast.

 

CS, I found that taking a dose lower than 50 mg of B at a concert was fuitless. It seemed that the extreme external stimulation snuffed out the effects of the B.

However the effects never manifested later like it did with you. That's so weird. I wonder what made wait so long. Unless something hindered it's metabolism or something. Idk...

 

since dosing MDMA solo a couple of months ago, i've made a lot of positive changes in my life and seem to be able to manage my anxiety so well that triggers that would have set me off and put me into a spiral of anxiety and depression just a few months ago are now just minor annoyances that i can handle without any issues.

i've started to actually put effort into my life and take pride in my accomplishments, and have given notice at my job and signed up to go back to university in january and finish my degree in a field i want to study (unlike when i started studying business years ago because it felt like what i should do). i'm biking to and from work every day (unless it rains or there is an extreme heat warning), eating better, and actually managing to find things to enjoy about this job that i used to hate.

i feel a lot closer to my wife than i did before this experience... it helped me to see a few things that i was doing which were causing conflict in our relationship and i have since made some changes in my behaviour and things seem to be working really well now (not that we were having problems before, but it just seems that we're even closer now), and the sex has gotten even better because of this.

this post probably seems out of nowhere, but i just wanted to share how much of a positive impact this MDMA experience has had on my life. i'm looking forward to getting a chance to try a real dose of LSD and see what i can learn about myself.

i still have about 600mg or so of this incredible MDMA left, but i think i'm going to save it for the next time i need a mental/emotional realignment. i'd like to take it at a concert again, but i almost feel guilty to use it for recreation instead of therapy.

 

Thats great! It made me very happy to read this! MDMA is fantastic for therapeutic use and can almost be, as you experience has been, a kind of positive push in the right direction. I plan on doing something similar to this soon, however the quality of what has been going around has not been anywhere near as nice as i would like...nevertheless I am glad things are going well for you eggsprog! :love:

Well I have 250mg, so I didn't want to take 200 and have 50 left.

 

Well then the options are 250mg. Which im sure would be fantastic. Or id do 100mg and then you can have the rest for another time and that extra 50mg in the second dose will be a lil boost compared to the 100mg dose.

 

Go 150 mgs and save the other 100 mgs for a combo.

It's a long lasting psychedelic. Or my experience was....

 

I think that the fact that you guys don't like 2c-b so much at concerts and the fact that me and volupta adore it beyond belief for secluded nature camping trips or indoor warm coconut oil drenched candlelit tantric lovescapes shows how its meant to be consumed I wouldn't take the bee at a concert . . . it's much more intimate, sensual than that. It's subtle too, you don't want to blast it away with something like huge subwoofers blaring music and live bands and a hundred drunk and high people around you . . . you want solo, silence, nature, or with an intimate partner, frolicking about together. heck even with just friends, but a way more low key night, 2cb with some good friends, some beers and joints, nice tunes playing . . . that's the ticket.

one of the worst places i took 2cb was a house party where almost no one was ok with "drugs". it was an amazing time for me but damn was it cramping the bee's style. it wants you NEKKID and in LOVE with love, listening to yourself.

 

As music is somewhat psychedelic:

yesterday I got a guitar for 2 dollars at the thrift store. Little 3/4ths or 5/8ths thing, seems to be made out of pine, one tuner missing, fretboard painted black, guitar painted blue, nut, tuner alignment, bridge, etc, are half-assed, top and back are slightly seperated (apparently by impact and age) and bridge is pulling up slightly.

And the frets buzz so badly I shimmed the strings at the bridge nut with cardboard.

Got the guitar shop to put together a custom set of the thinnest strings they have so as to not rip the top off.

So it's a tiny beater guitar for fidgeting or picking when I have to wait in my car or whatever. I didn't have an acoustic.

Cost me slightly less than 9 dollars overall. I'm exceedingly proud.

I do need to ask the guitar shop for a single buggered up tuner, to put square in the middle of the stock, due to the missing guts of the one.

 

Kinda messed up today and took 15 300mg Soma, 5 Klonopin 1mg on top of 900mg of Gabapentin and 2mg of Zanaflex, then 10mg of oxycodone. Extremely shakey and generally uncomfortable at the moment.

I was at wits end with my sciatica and went overboard. Sciatica feels fine now though the rest of me doesn't.
