Interesting idea but I don't see how it really.. shows anything. I wonder how much it says about him or the drug. And is Zoloft really going to alter your state of consciousness? Not really.. I like 'Ativan / Haloperidol (doseage unknown in hospital)'. I prefer sober art making personally.

I like that last link, but I found the previous dudes work kinda pretentious. Not a bad artist but really weak creativity. Interesting idea but poorly executed and I felt like it almost lost interest of his own concept. Dude is whack taking a different drug everyday for a week or two, whatever it was. I don't believe that he is a neive beginner either per his use of needle injection (outside the hospital, of course) and that his work didn't really give off the vibe of a beginner willing to commit that hardcore.

Well according to the guys website he has been doing a self portrait everyday for at least the last 16 years and this was just part of that ongoing project. He has done self portraits many different ways, heck he even drew one with a sharpie stuck in his ass! I don't mean a picture of someone with a pen in their butt, he drew it with his ass.

He does claim that he isn't a drug user at all and that was his first real foray into drugs. Plus he said he only used drugs given to him, so is it really that hard to picture someone else injecting him?

If you check his site and read some of the interviews it becomes very clear this guy is definitely out there.......way out there.

I've been reading about ketamine withdrawals. It's interesting to compare it to MXE which has a very low chance of creating physical withdrawal. Apparently ketamine is like the worst withdrawal you can experience.

 

Ketamine didn't have any more of a physical withdrawal than mxe for me nor anyone I used to use with, if anything it felt more benign than mxe. Ketamine has a shorter duration though which made it more compulsive but I found both quite psychologically addicting.

I'm assuming you're reading about ketamine users who have developed bladder/ kidney or other problems and continue to use?

 

No, this was specifically to withdrawal. Not everyone is going to have a ket withdrawal but with constant use, there's a lot of reports of it.

 

Wow news to me, I used ketamine for 2 years pretty heavily at times. Never experienced or heard of significant physical withdrawal symptoms, no puking, no cold sweats, no delerium tremens or anything like that, at worst a hangover sometimes. I never even experienced tachychardia which I got sometimes from mxe when I used heavily.

What kind of physical symptoms are you reading about and where?

on a separate note, I can't ever eat or drink kratom again. too nasty, and I can't do more than three grams that way. can't wait to get some more gel capsules and try it that way. maybe I need a size 13 gel cap or something haha.

 

I came across these energy drinks at a convenience store today right in the middle of the counter. I felt really awkward and didn't really know what to think about such an overt drug reference marketed in such a way.

 

Have you tried mixing it with yogurt and eating it that way?

Swallowing a whole bunch of gel capsules doesn't seem like it would be fun for your stomach either.

Yogurt works well but the amount of powder it's still just too much. I haven't tried mixing it into the yogurt though. I've heard good things from doing gel caps and can't imagine them hurting your stomach.

 

Mixing it into yogurt works pretty well IME.
I've only actually tried it in yogurt (Turkish btw) once, but it was much better than straight powder eating.

Spoonful of yogurt -> Suck on lemon -> Water

bump for weighing out my dose of 2c-b for the Minus the Bear & Cursive concert next week. i'm gonna take ~33 mg, and give lower doses to my two friends if they want some.
