PoP, it's weird you say that bout yay cuz when I lived in Bushwick, Brooklyn with my ex-fiance, she got horny with weed not blow, then in East Oakland another ex she'd get neurotic and mean, most certainly not sexxed up. Btw, Cosmo... the amount of saline you are talking about using... 30ml? Maybe I am confused here but that sounds like an awful lot. My IM syringes are 3cc and my IV syringes are 1cc. From my understanding ml and cc are the same thing. Are you using huge syringes or what? I never used more than 3cc's when I was injecting MXE. To inject 30 ml of solution I would have to use 10 syringes. lol Something just isn't right.

Somebody on the Shroomery posted about Mimosa coming to BR in November. I might go if it's a weekend or during my vacation time.

Aww, it will still be fun though. The Mimosa show is on a Tuesday, November 29th. Zeds Dead is playing tonight in Nola. They are really hitting up the Dubstep/Electronica shows this fall with Skrillex and Pretty lights just passing not to mention that local dubstep rave at the Dragon's Den last weekend.

 

Looks like the Mimosa show is during my vacation week, so there's a good chance that I'll go.

If anyone is knowledgeable about using Suboxone and Subutex for actually getting clean please read my 'Suboxone vs Subutex thread in the opiate forum. I have a few questions on my brother's part and I'm trying to help him out.

 

^ Have you considered having him try a regimen of psychedelics to kick the opiate habit opposed to using one opiate to replace another?

 

He has severe Anxiety, PTSD, and is Bi-Polar and can't handle psychedelics. I've gone down that road with him before. He turns into a schizo spazz on the smallest amount of any psychedelic, even 2C-B. It's a shame because he really wants to get into them and expand his mind but is so hindered by his conditions that he can't.

Around here, if you start a sub regimen they monitor you closely and really work with you to try and get you off the junk. Unlike the rehab systems here that throw you into a room with several other addicts, shoving Methadone down your throat along with all that 12 step BS and Christianity. Institutionalizing you then releasing you into the world with no education about how to go about life without drugs so people just go back to using.

He needs to be on mental medication and therapy but needs to get off the opie train before he can start will all that. Before he became an addict (self medicating) he had it stuck in his mind that mental meds would rob him of who he is and he thinks he will become someone else. He has had severe problems since he was very young. It all started when my mom and dad split up, he was about 8 when all of that happened.

We have been through a lot growing up. A lot of fucked up shit and he was so young at the time that he doesn't understand what was going on and it has warped his mind so bad. Then my dad, grandma, grandpa, and step mom dying very close together then my mom getting cancer broke the kid (he is 22 now).

As i'm sure you're aware, MDMA has been shown to be effective in treating PTSD and anxiety but its often used in conjunction with more traditional forms of therapy.

 

Maybe I can talk him into it. He has had bad experiences with bad pills before and is pretty nervous about trying my mdma because he is afraid those feeling he had when he took bad pills would come back. I try and reassure him that they wont and he just needs to clear his mind and be confident that I will be right beside him and take care of him unlike the crowd he hangs with that could give a fuck.

I got him to take a small dose of B once and he really enjoyed himself and was able to work a few things out but 99% of the time he is fucked up on oxycodone and doesn't wanna mix it with anything. I have tried to tell him to skip a day and come over and take a lil bit of LSD or something but he can't/won't stay clean long enough to do so; staving off withdrawal symptoms.
