I actually just saw a show with Billy Connolly the other day where he rides a motorcycle tour somewhere in New Brunswick.. or maybe it was Newfoundland, don't really remember - but it did look beautiful.

well my degrees will be in BIOchemistry - more to do with live cells, RNA, DNA, proteins, etc.
GC/MS and chromatography etc are more straight chemistry. there are so many specialties within science, that we r all probably a little too narrowly focused. of course i could learn, but i found that type of stuff insanely boring the few times i was exposed to it. when i think about identifying an unknown substance, it seems interesting, but the actual work involved is boring IMO

now for a tangent - sometimes when i working with yeast cells, i imagine myself as their "god." for example, i grow up 25 mL of cells, but only use 20 mL (keep them growing, put DNA in them that allows growth on selective media - so i keep those ones alive). the other 5 mL gets poured down the sink (i imagine this as a slow death for them - they can probably live for quite awhile, but there is some nasty shit that gets poured down our sinks and i'm sure nutrients would become limiting..

anyways i thought it was kinda neat today when i was "choosing" which yeast cells to keep alive, and grow for a few hundred more generations...and which ones i ruthlessly murder.
good thing i don't work with mice or something, i don't think i could.

 

I saw that one! He's riding what is called the Cabot Trail on Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia. We did that and the sights were amazing!

My ass is feeling great actually, but I did have a kink in my neck after a while. Totally worth it though.

I live on the boarder of Ontario and Quebec so I basically have to drive across all of Quebec before I hit the maritimes. Took 3 days to drive through Quebec, New brunswick, and then Nova scotia, where we took a 6 hour ferry to Newfoundland. Two more days to drive across Newfoundland. What a Journey! On our Way back we took a 16 hour overnight ferry, sleeping on small cots and stuff, nothing but fog, darkness, and a fog horn every few minutes. It was eerie in the most wonderful of ways.

No I doubt I'll wear a costume, I'll be on the floor. I'm debating whether or not to buy some microlights and maybe i'll get like glow in the dark teeth or something cheesy like that for if I give light shows. Even if I don't bring microlights I guess I could still walk around with glow in the dark teeth.

I'll probably be on the 5 apb/6 apb combo unless some Ecstasy or Molly presents itself between now and then, Wouldn't mind a few hits of DMT for the opening track as well.

You got a costume in mind?

 

Nice Shiv, I just arrived in Vancouver My western canada journey is ridiculous so far. So much seen and done. Camped three days in the rockies in Alberta, now flown to here, gonna check out the city for a few days (and what a city) and then camping on the coast of the Pacific in coastal rainforest with lucy :drool5:

It's been about 3.5 weeks since I have tripped... or taken any substance. Something feels good about taking a break. I can't quite place it.

 

P.S.

Does anyone have any advice on mixing aMT and 2C-I? It seems like it would make for an interesting combination if safe.

 

I'd dose the aMT and then dose the 2ci in a couple hours so they comedown together.

 

Damn Amt must be a long trip.
I like a nice amount of space in between my trips, I feel foolish and selfish when I start getting fucked up every night. And gives me time to digest the experience too.

 

Long time I see, last I was around 5 was most recent round. Well I'm thinking I might trip tonight, I don't get around to it much anymore. Also, weed is quite psychedelic now compared to before I got into psychs, so I can just smoke a bowl and be pretty satisfied if I feel any desire. I dig endorphin highs also, pretty psychedelic.

Anyways, I've been becoming lucid frequently in dreams and a few weeks ago I took lsd in my dream. I believe I realized I was dreaming after the dosing, but once I knew I felt a glorious joy at the possibilities, and it quickly turned into the most mind-blowing visual trip of my lifetime, for all of 5 minutes or so. (Yet, they were those fascinating, time-warped dream minutes. I mean I got shit done. ) Ultimately I forgot I was dreaming and lost control, so caught up in the insanity of it all, and I forget what followed. But ya, I thought that was pretty amazing and profound. After that, I started becoming lucid much more frequently, no "drugs" needed now.
