I like the most recent posts from you guys regarding this drama and i'm glad we can throw a punch and then have a beer :cheers2:. Let's just write this off to astral alignments and mental malignments ;) :)

APC! Very decent. They are coming to my city, might have to see them! Love this cover by them.

@Writer: Ain't it wonderful to have this mess swept under the rug? Cheers buddy! You the shit! :2thumbsup:

@porkstock: It is rather uncanny that we tend to watch all of the same documentaries at almost the same times in our lives, cosmic vibrations man. I haven't seen the one you were talking about, but I'll look it up... and I'll also have to look up that documentary godmachine said is excellent (oh yeah, I watch my Instant Netflix on the ol' PC)! On the topic of documentaries, you might find The Quantum Activist rather enjoyable! :sifone:

@godmachine: Dallas here we come! I talked to my friend there today, so if everything aligns correctly and I can make the sojourn that-a-way, I'm so there with you to see A Perfect Circle and trip face and generally have a groovy time; if that doesn't work, you know where I live and we can all still camp in the desert on the banks of the Rio Grande (and even if I do make it to Dallas, I still think the four of us should make the trek after the show and such to the desert and keep the good times rollin'... and us rollin', lol)! As you said, this summer is going to be EPIC!!!

@GB: I'm curious if you've found the right time, set, setting, drugs, and mindframe to soak in that music I sent your way! Either way, I sure hope you enjoy them tunes as much as I do! :sunny:

Bump for Black Rebel MC Club on Carson, playing TNS favorite song!

I think it would be better live than on TV, but I'm at work so oh well.

Their more uptempo songs are better live, while their slower songs are better on CD, based on what I've heard on youtube anyway.

Yes, indeed! I'm really excited. Don't have much to look forward to anymore these days. Not to mention, even though I have seen APC before, I have not been to that side of Texas before, Never been in/seen a desert before, and Never met an HF buddy before. So this will be one hell of an adventure! I have not only been out of Louisiana in years, I haven't left the greater city area in years either. This place is absolutely stagnant. July is too far off!

I saw BRMC live for the Howl tour. All of it was good! It was one of my more surprising shows as I went in with little expectations and they blew me away. Amazing live band!

@GM: APC is playing right up the street from me in CA where I saw Tool at last year. The show is also at the end of July you should make the trek, I doubt I will go otherwise but I would like to see them.

I'd love to see them live. It seems like it would be a really crazy atmosphere. Of course, I've never been to a show in my life......seriously........so I wouldn't have anything to compare it to. lol

I have no clue what your area is like but you should save a low dose of a psych and check out a show sometime. Even if its not like your favorite band or a band that you know even, live music is amazing. The only thing I don't like about smaller clubs is sometimes I feel a bit claustrophobic.

Zion I and Grouch are playing on my Bday, I'm contemplating that depending on how much tickets are.

Yeah I do need to go sometime. I've wanted to, but just never gotten around to it. I'm pretty close to Atlanta, so I know there are definitely good shows around. I just have to make it a point to go to some of them. lol

I love love love small venue shows. Saw Deftones at the House of Blues in New Orleans last year. Since you don't know, lemme tell ya, that place is pretty damn small and the show was sold out. It was crotch to ass all the way to the door and I was right in the middle right up front. I couldn't see shit b/c I am only 5'2 (5'3 on a good day) and I was surrounded by dudes but I had soooo much fun. The vibe at small venue shows are amazing. The connection between you, the band, and the complete strangers around you is magnificent! I like arena shows too though but it seems like (and it may just be around here) that there are more belligerent drunk loud stupid fucks at arena shows. Granted the 2nd... no, 3rd time I saw Tool it was at the New Orleans Arena, while we were sitting in line outside about 10 of us started a joint smokin circle. Nola police parked right in front of us. I love that city lol.
