I need some of that fanatic adherence to technique next time I smoke . . . I tend to say "WHOA ok im good" as soon as the effects really start to rev up . . . I need to just keep smoking until the pipe falls out of my hand.

I've been sitting on some 5-meo-dmt for a long time, haven't felt that the time is right, was also worried about stories of long lasting mental side effects from even single doses. DPT . . . can't wait for you to try that one

Whoa. I'm back. Shit, that was my most difficult trip to date. 13 hours of demons chasing me around my head with no escape. The hardest part was that the demons are reality-based, so I found no relief in telling myself "ride it out, it'll be over in a few hours" because I knew the demons would be there waiting for me when I got back. However, with reality returns a certain dullness to those things that seem to be a huge deal at the time. This one might get a TR, if for nothing more than the WEIRD physical side effects I got from this combo.

Ummm, shermin, hope you have fun. . . . that combo would (seriously) make me psychotic.

SB - nope not leaving the forums, if anything will probably be more active. The break will be super-short, Festival beginning 9/17. The elves were not self-transforming, biomechanical types but they were sneaky! LOL! i'd see them moving/climbing, then look more closely and watch them run to hid behind or underneath something! Hilarious and potentially very distracting when the tolerance clock is ticking . . .

This really helps generate the full and profound effects that DMT people rant about. But, of course, if one is trying for this it is good to have a sober sitter ready to "catch the pipe." This is the time (& during cleaning with fire) when users are most at risk for rather serious "DMT burns." i know a person who dropped the pipe on her thigh and the liquid/molten DMT leaked out. She tripped face for a tremendous time (theorized that DMT actually absorbed through the skin of her thigh) and "woke up" with a burn on her thigh that was close to 3rd degree, took many months to scar over, etc. She has not tried it since. . .

 

Maybe we can discuss this more, I have in my hands a single dose of 200mg white dpt, since my last 2 times with it a year ago I now know... what it is I would be getting into... so I'm waiting for the right time and slowly slowly preparing myself.. But ive been thinking maybe I want to try freebasing this time... Are there any very simple and effective guides for freebasing dpt hcl?

Can you convert it to a freebase oil (right now it's a salt), the way Shulgin did? i wouldn't have a clue as to where/how to start myself.

If you can do this, Erowid says:

Threshold 10 mg
Common 20 - 50 mg
Strong 50 - 100 mg

 

Do you want to try that just for the novelty of a new ROA? I'm not sure if I would want to smoke DPT. I mean I'd try it for shits and giggles but something tells me that snorted/IM are the best for this one. I really like the length of insufflated DPT . . . neat 3 hour package. Remember not to build it up too much in your mind or you'll germinate the seeds of future anxiety. Go into it only expecting a personal apocalypse.
