Don't you love them like normal kids? To top it - if you have a retard - thou get a government check just because it lives with you. I have seen many retards and most of them do not need a leash to walk around. Yes, if you leave them in the backyard, it is not uncommon to find that your retard is chewing grass or playing with the dog's excrements but remember, this is very good for the grass.

But seriously, I could understand someone becoming upset when hearing the word "retard" being used as an insult. Say someone has a retarded child, hearing the word "retard" used as an insult could easily push his/her buttons, and I wouldn't really blame that person. I usually don't feel this way because I see most things that people take offense to as idiotic, but for some reason, I try not to use the word. You never know, I could have a retarded child some day.
