Protest the Canadian Seal Hunt

Sorry, I just care about animals too much and can't stand people who view their lives of less importance just because we're bigger than them. That's like white people thinking they are better than balck...and men thinking they are better than women. It's just not right.

If you really believe only endangered lives matter, go start killing people. Seriously...we could use less of those...they actually harm the planet in numerous ways. Seals, don't.

 

omg lol, i agree with you, any color. why dont you guys go protest wolf hunting, or bear hunting, or any other kind of hunting for that matter. or better yet why dont you protest the disgusting lifelong torture experienced by millions of cattle, pigs and chickens? or do you eat them? that is far more disgraceful than killing an animal that has at least lived its life in the wild, in freedom before it is killed. i am not condoning the killing of animals for only their fur, i think that is wrong but surely you must realize that far worse things happen to animals on the way to your table. seriously, grow up. to the OP- if you are as young as you seem, i am sorry, please continue standing up for what you believe in

 

Yeah, there are far worse things, but seal lives matter too.
Just because they aren't going through the torture of chickens or dogs, doesn't mean getting clubbed isn't fucking torture. Chickens at least get eaten...these seals are getting killed for fun. >_< Animal Cruelty is everywhere and should stop everywhere.
I do eat chicken but I eat it from Chipotle, free-range and humane.

What is the point of an online petittion, they lack credibility since names and addresses can be forged, also there is really usually nothing stopping the same person signing many times in one way or another, and no politician takes them seriously anymore

 

How many here in developed countries eat seal or wear seal? Why should they be hunted by westerners. Native tribes still do use the materials obtained from seal kill. But I question why the corporate exec with more money than he knows what to do with wants to take part. But there's always some testosterone filled monied young man that wants to prove his manhood by killing something that can't possibly harm himself.

 

I have a couple things to say first of all, since when are you a politician? You live here In Canada? and atleast I am doing something about this Instead of sitting here and whining and doing nothing I refuse to sit here and watch those seals get tortured and not do anything about It In case your not up to date on the news there are many people out there that have petitions going so I would really appreciate If you would not put mine down If you don't want to sign then don't you may think Its useless but I on the other hand think this Is a very worthy cause and many In this country would agree with me.

Not sure if Ted Nugent is into clubbing seals just for the heck of it yet, but he sure is one active proponent of animal hunting and anti-animal rights.

 

I find it more amusing that some of us "hippies" are really cool until you talk about bad things that happen in their country. Then they get all negative and start trying to deflect by pointing out how evil the United States is.
