lol i'm out haha... I totally agree with you xac... I am done arguing haha.... happy guys lol... I guess i do have idealistic views... I am sorry about the personal attack Deisceable... I was wrong to say you could not hold your opinion... my arguement about your opinion having no value goes against all my personal beliefs... I am still unwavered in the opinion that Islam is not intended to be a religion of terrorists...
Islamic terrorism is an international problem. The IRA was only a problem in Northern Ireland. The Israelis are only a threat to those who want to annihilate them. They are trying to survive in the middle of a sandy wasteland of primitive brutality and subhuman cruelty. Israel is an oasis of civilization surrounded by horrifying barbarism.
I'm fine with the intent of idealism, i can see that by its very nature is good but it isn't useful in matters where it is truely incorrect and can be quite harmful.
I actually agree with that statement. Islam is still a religion of war however it is honourable war. They'd never kill some one who is unarmed or take a woman hostage... during the crusades the muslims use to debate about the validity of using poisened arrows (even though they were being used at the time). I agree that Islam is not a religion of terror but it is a religion of war... there is no doubt about it.
Now THATS an old one! you know what Alexander the great said? "i divide not man into barbarian and Greek but judge each on their virtue". Using words like subhuman and barbarian aren't going to persuade this thinker. Anyway if the Israelis didnt want to survive a "sandy wasteland" maybe they should've stayed the fuck in allied territory and lived as westerners? anyway here is a clue for ya jack... the Palestinians live in the same "sandy wasteland"... except the Israelis have almost the entire coast... except for th Gaza strip... and i wouldn't want to live there myself. The west bank is the closest to the sandy hell your talking about. Anyway, you can tie international terrorism with the Palestinian/Israel conflict if you like but it is inaccurate. I said it before and i'll say it again, you tell me how barbaric this country and culture are... you're not going to convince me it justifies your desire to kill them all. In fact you could possibly explain to me your desire to kill Palestinians, your profile sais you live in America.
No worries, its all good. Sorry for coming off as an asshole, the only problem I had was with the buzzwords, I just find them annoying and needless. And I'm no idealist, but if you'd like to be an idealist you're more then welcome to, of course. You'll probably live longer then me.
Yeah, but during the European Migration Period, lol. 1,500 years later, I find nothing honorable nor noble about jihad. Copious amounts of unarmed people are being slaughtered by pious Muslims and women, themselves, are being used as weapons in Iraq and elsewhere.
Well modern 'Islamic Terrorism' doesn't have much to do with the rules of the Qu'uran does it (correct me if i am wrong please)? I mean what happened to the rules of not attacking unarmed people? or taking women hostage? or Allah deciding when it is your turn to die (i.e. dying in battle because the enemy killed you)?
The integrity may have changed, but the motives certainly haven't. And, more importantly, the world has changed. There is no place for religious war in the 21st century; with the advancement of science, democracy (whether modern "democracy" is a facade or not, the people have more clout then they did 500 years ago) and weaponology we can't afford to tolerate theocratic polities.
Get a life. Don't you have anything else to think about? The Palestinians supported Germany during World War II. They supported the Soviet Union during the Cold War. The supported Saddam Hussein during the Gulf War. During 9/11 they danced in the streets. Please explain why I should feel any sympathy for them at all.
I would love to kill a lot of Palestinians, but I would only kill the terrorists, and I would only kill them legally. I would love to demonstrate to a suicide bomber that there are not 72 virgins waiting for him in Paradise.
I compose my comments using Microsoft Word. Microsoft Word tags spelling errors, and indicates errors of grammar. Then I copy my comments, and paste them here. To copy a comment, shade it by clicking left, and running your cursor over it. Once it is shaded, type Ctrl c. When you get to where you want to paste it, type Ctrl v.
I am pretty sure you are wrong. Earlier in this thread I presented several quotes from the Qu'uran. It is a rather violent piece of work. I have read the Koran in three English translations. I do not remember any rules against attacking unarmed people.
I may say some stupid shit once in a while about Muslims. But to be very honest.. I enjoy the Quran. More than the Holy Bible.
The first verse I met which was talking about fighting was the following; "Fight in the cause of Allah those who fight you, but do not transgress limits; for Allah loveth not transgressors." 2:190 I noticed that there are 2 conditions for fighting in this verse. The first is; ".. those who fight you ..', the second is; ".. but do not transgress limits ..". The second condition has been clarified by prophet Muhammad (PBUH) when he was saying to his followers every time they go in a battle that they shouldn't kill a woman or a child or a monastic or priest, and that they shouldn't cut a palm tree or burn a tree or demolish a house or a temple. http://clean-fun.blogspot.com/
Your web site is interesting. It would be more useful if the quotes were attributed to surahs and verses in the Koran, so that I can look them up in my translations. When Muhammad was 40 years old he was an obscure merchant married to a woman ten years older than he was. As the result of the religion he founded he became rich, powerful, and the master of a harem of lovely young ladies. Under those circumstances one may suspect him of being a religious charlatan. By contrast, Jesus and his disciples were executed, often painfully. Islam is a religion that bases its entire authority on the word of honor of one man. Muhammad came before the Arab people with the Koran, and said, "This was dictated to me by the angel Gabriel. Trust me. It was." By contrast, the Bible was written during a period of about 1,400 years by many different men, and perhaps a few women. If it is a hoax, one needs to imagine a conspiracy lasting that long. Although Muhammad restricted his followers to four wives, he had about 8 himself. His favorite was Aisha. He married her when she was 6, and first had sex with her when she was 9.
all religion is controversial ... No man comes before Allah!!! mooooohammed is a dickhead... but a good story teller. I take that to the bank with a IED stapped to my ass.. BTW Orson Wells was a good story teller also and caused many people to panic.. and Orison (me)will be a good story teller too. Hope you got some XANAX.
