mmmm, Jones I prefer Blue Sky's organic line, but that's because it's easier to find... and less expensive love, mom
That just might be a mental picture I wasn't prepared to tackle with a temperature of 102! Elephants must have some pretty funky toe-jam love, mom
I have no problem with occasional intakes of HFCS. I'm a physically active person with the metabolism of a rabbit. I burn through it pretty fast. As for water, I just lost my taste for it. x
can sugar is just as bad as regular sugar though not as bad as HFCS.... i'm depressed to discover that hansen's sodas contain HFCS....
Yeah, I stopped drinking soda 4-5 years ago (DH and I were both addicts - coming off Mountain Dew and Coke was a more painful withdrawal for us than cigarettes!)... Stopped drinking fruit-juice drinks (like SoBe, that type of thing) a year or two later. That doesn't leave a lot of other options besides water! I drink a LOT of that. 2-3 times a day I've developed the habit of drinking hot tea because it's a good way to keep me on schedule and force myself into a "break time". (Green in the morning, usually black in the afternoon, and something herbal like chamomile or mint at night) I do occasionally still drink real fruit or veggie juice - usually cranberry or Odwalla Superfood if I'm feeling rich. OJ on rare occasions. But I treat that more as a fruit serving than as a beverage.
Quinoa is pretty nutritrionally complete I don't like plain water, but I'll drink it if I'm thirsty. I tend to drink coffee, fruit juice and I still have a soda addiction after all these years. I'm lucky in that I don't put on weight very easily. I can go without soda but I end up craving it. I've stopped with the coca cola though.
